I applied to The Dawson over a month ago, and have been patiently waiting for a refund of the administrative fee. I don't know why The Dawson doesn't directly refund the credit card used when applying like any other property management company and they have to issue a check, but making someone wait nearly two months is not acceptable.
I was told today by the Assistant Manager, Andrew Mollman that the check was at the office. I requested that someone else pick up the check and provided written permission to release the check to said person. At no point during this exchange did he say that no one would be in either The Dawson or Maple Street Lots office to release the check. I don't think I have ever experienced such lack of professionalism from someone who is supposed to be a property manager. Does no one work in the leasing office on the premises?

As long as someone from Maple Street Lofts releases the check today I will NOT file a complaint with my banking institution, but I am going to escalate this complaint to owners/shareholders. It's amazing to me that in order to get attention/response you have to resort to social media.

Safe your time and energy these people racist and the experience that I got was almost daily tense .. you can feel the tension they never welcome us except when about money .. what I been tru on that place just to shared here is so stressful.. this people are not good believe this save your time the only guy that worth the time there is Andrew he’s real and nice the rest good luck 🍀

Andrew and Georgia are excellent property/business managers. They are good people and made Maple Street Lofts a great place to live. If I didn't move to the city I'd still be there.

My wife and I stayed here for almost a year. We enjoyed our stay here especially the conveniency of groceries and transportation (Metra station and close to O'hare). Other than that, the management staff are very accommodating and helpful especially Andrew Mollmann who have helped us since day 1 until on our last day. He goes above and beyond on assisting what you need and I highly recommend him to reach out to anyone who is interested on this place. We'll definitely going to miss this place.

I sold my home of 37 years and wanted to live in the Chicago area in a new luxury apartment....... I found Maple Street Lofts under construction at the time, picked out a beautiful top floor apartment and the rest is history! It's been "home" for more than 2 years now. I love the well-maintained and green pool/hot tub area and outdoor gas fireplaces. The secured and clean building and package room, Angelo Caputo's Market, helpful office (shout out to Georgia/Andrew), very timely maintenance, quiet neighbors and friendly folks are all just some of the many positive things about living here. Believe the good reviews!

This place is almost new and in very good condition. All the public spaces are always clean and everything works perfectly. Very good place to live.

Amazing. Beautiful apartments and great location. The pool and fitness room are wonderful and the management is the best. Everyone is so nice - it's a great atmosphere.

I've lived at Maple Street Lofts for 2 years now and have absolutely loved my time here. The amenities are the best in the area and now that an Angelo Caputo's grocery store has opened in the building (with direct access for the residents) I never have to leave! The building is also Pet Friendly which is hard to find these days and I've made good friends with other Pet Owners at the Dog Park that is in the building.
