Please be careful bringing your pet for grooming here. This is what happened to my dog’s ears after yesterdays’ appointment leaving them completely cut up… also the extra charge for “nail grinding” leaves my dog limping every time. It is not fair I had to take an extra trip to the vet..JUST TO UPDATE: my dogs ears NEVER GREW BACK!!! They destroyed my dog! Also he has not stopped coughing for months since the grooming visit and my vet took another look telling me he was choked so bad that he received damage on his throat/neck from the collar that your employee used! Horrible people work here!!!!!

I took my year old shihtzu in to see Heyong(s) not sure of the spelling. He was crooked and not finished and I was charged 10.00 extra for handling because he went to the bathroom in the crate and she had to clean it.
I have gone here 4 times and 2 times it was fine and 2 times it was not - when they are rough with him he will get nervous and go to the bathroom. He’s not treated roughly at home! The other bad experience was about the same she said he went to the bathroom and he was so happy to leave this groomer but she didn’t up charge me for a dog being a dog.
The other 2 nice experiences were with a woman with shorter blonde hair not sure if her name but she was friendly and calm.
Will not go back until they get management in there or better groomers. Do disappointed!!!!

Avoid taking your pets to this groomer!! Specifically Diana - she is unprofessional and extremely disrespectful. Absolute disaster of a staff - I booked a grooming appointment for my dog over a week in advance- came in on time, checked my dog in, signed paperwork and was told my dog would be ready by 330 for pickup. 2 hours later, I get a phone call that I need to come back and sign new paperwork because I signed someone elses paperwork. Completely disorganized and are trying to throw the blame at me for their incompetence. Mind you, my dog has been groomed at this location for several years without any issues until now. Pick a better place to give your business to!!!!

The grooming was terrible, they left my dog with a sclera hemorrhage and they trimmed their nails too short leaving one bleeding. Would have given 0 stars, don’t recommend coming here for the hospital or grooming.

My ADA service-dog that was boarded at Petsmart Hotel in Mt.Prospect, IL.in January 2024 for several days, and was returned to me very sick and bloated when I picked him up!
(They admittedly over-fed him a treat topper that was only to be used IF he wouldn't eat.) The treat-topper container was returned to me completely empty!!!!
The staff had the nerve to tell me he's just fluffy, not bloated!!!
Because he got so ill, I took him to my vet as an emergency visit and he needed tests/xrays/treatment/medications right away, and he was very dehydrated!!!
I couldn't stand seeing him in such pain, as he was whimpering and shaking and he wanted to hide all day, which is uncharacteristic of him normally. He had mushy stools and he could barely walk.
He was unable to perform his ADA service-dog functions, which caused me to NOT get recertification that was due with him until he improved, so it significantly and negatively impacted my life as a disabled individual as well for quite awhile!
I lost my trust in this company for sure and will NEVER use their boarding services again! The staff was dismissive toward me to say the least!
The organization who trained my service dog spoke to Petsmart as well and were beyond upset about how sick he got from his stay there, and Petsmart's lack of cooperation or compassion regarding his stay there. They were dismissive toward them as well.
Why be in the business of taking care of people's pets when in my experience, there's a disregard in care and negligence, being that I entrusted my dog to them??
NEVER will I trust this company Petsmart again!

I brought my Maltese Dog for grinning, I TOLD THEN NOT TO CUT HER HAIR on her head because we growing it.
When I picked her guess what? They DID CUT hair on her head!
Very unprofessional and not listening to customers at all.
Never going back! Stay away from this place.

Do not bring your furr babies here they burned my furry baby private part he was in so much pain when we got him back. we then took him two days ago and noticed he had part of his paw come off we picked him up and was so sad all day and in pain 100% sure they hit them or are aggressive towards them!!!!!

Only place I can get my cat’s prescription food but recently with the new points system the store has been putting out ? and I can no longer go in, I can’t imagine how many dogs can’t go in now either, out of all places you wouldn’t think a pet store would put those out. It’s not a party.
