Came out and inspected my truck and found a couple of issues. Needed batteries, new fuel line, and airlines. Very thankful for Floyds mechanics. They're great mobile diesel mechanics. Would highly recommend them for mobile truck and trailer repair.

Big thanks to the roadside service team that came out to replace our truck batteries. They showed up fast, were super friendly, and knew exactly what they were doing. The whole process was quick and smooth — no stress at all.
What really stood out was how helpful the tech was. He explained what he was checking, made sure everything was working right before leaving, and treated us with respect the whole time. In trucking, every minute matters, and they had us back on the road way sooner than we expected.
It’s not often you get service that feels both professional and personal, but these guys nailed it. Definitely recommend them to any driver who finds themselves stuck on the road.

We had an excellent experience working with this team. Their communication was outstanding from start to finish, and the level of service truly exceeded our expectations. Being in Wisconsin, we needed someone to drive an hour and a half to inspect a truck on our behalf, and they did so promptly and at a very fair price. A big Thank you to Floyd's Mobile Diesel Mechanic. They came out late in the night and diagnosed my battery issue. Got me new batteries and was back on the road in no time. Friendly, fast, and honest. These days it's hard to find people like that.

This mechanic is completely unprofessional and dishonest. He wastes your time, gives excuses, and in reality does nothing. Prices are outrageous — repairs could cost you as much as a new car. I lost both my time and patience. I do not recommend this service at all. Better find someone else if you don’t want to waste your nerves, money, and energy.

I dispatched Floyd’s to fix a trailer issue on July 14, 2005.
They were very helpful on the phone making the process very easy.
Peter was the tech who responded. He was diligent and patient in working through the issue.
Every time we talked he was respectful, kind, and knowledgeable.
Any future mechanical issues I have will go through Floyd’s when I’m in the area.

I ran into an electrical wire/fuse problem coming through Mount Vernon and I called these guys up and within minutes they were heading to my truck on the side of the highway. Everyone had a great attitude and if I have a problem again I will be calling these guys back! Thank you Richard and the crew!

We were hauling two cows to be bread in Illinois when we lost a wheel on our trailer. We had no idea what to do, especially on a Saturday. To keep the story short we met Kevin who was the nicest, most knowledgeable mechanic who got us back on the road. What could’ve been a disaster was ok. Thank you so so much.
