“I have got several of my best friends ever from here. They work so hard, always clean and smells good. I know for a fact, they get dogs that have known nothing but abuse and sickness and tied to a pole to just go in circles. Only contact they know is abuse. But Jefferson County animal shelter, gets a warrant and in a month, that dog is happy and eating out of your hand. I don't have much. But budget 20 or 30 bucks a month, for a little more food, laundry soap and bleach. Some dog biscuits and cat treats. Let's all try even 5 or 10 bucks a month, or volunteer for the dog walking. Helps them become trusting. And more adoptable. Love and thank them every day.”
