About Super 8 by Wyndham Mt. Vernon, IL
Super 8 by Wyndham Mt. Vernon, IL is a good hotel offering decent value. Guests describe it as a clean, comfortable, and great place overall. Rooms are very clean, nice, and simple with comfortable beds and great pillows and bedding, contributing to a good night's sleep. The hotel is typically quiet with good channel selections on the TV. Staff are super nice, very welcoming, and provide excellent service, with housekeeping noted for cleaning rooms and providing fresh towels. Breakfast is considered okay, good, and fresh. Some minor concerns are mentioned. Water pressure might be low for those with thick or long hair. Occasionally, hallways can smell terrible. One room location near a stairwell experienced noise from other guests. A rare issue involved an unlockable window, which was reported for maintenance. While most find it quiet, a reminder is given for guests to be considerate of others regarding noise. Despite these points, guests state they would visit again, come back, and that it is a great place to be.
