Here's a thought: don't have package delivery on days and times while there isn't anyone in the office to answer the phone when your carrier lies about delivering the package.

This is the most incompetent post office I have ever dealt with ! Sent important mail to wrong address. Spent 45 minutes on the phone with the 800 number. Talked to the most helpful lady who got everything straightened out. She let us know the mail would be forwarded to the local Mount Vernon post office for pick up. We received a call as soon as it was sent. We went to the local post office to let them know we were expecting this mail. Called for updates were told we are aware of it and will notify you when it comes. We continued to track the mail online. Today it said being returned to sender/ unclaimed in Mount Vernon. Went to the Mount Vernon post office as soon as they opened. No one here has any idea where my mail is. Provided the tracking number and screenshots. They still have no clue what has happened to my mail.

I am new to town and had a package that was supposed to be delivered to me. The afternoon of scheduled delivery, i received a notification that my package had been redirected to a different address. When I went to the post office to try and find out where my package was, the front desk attendant was playing on her phone despite having a line of people waiting and her coworker doing all the work. Ironically she asked me to come up to the counter and was flat out rude! Never in my life have I had someone dismiss me like she did. Not helpful, not polite, AND she was supposed to call me once she went to the office. I never received a call. Some people do not belong in customer service! I was told I needed to contact the company that sent my package and said “are you sure you even sent it to the right address” as I was showing her the receipt. Do better!!

Had a friend send a letter from here July 10 after it was not picked up from his house's mailbox 3 days in a row. It is now July 20th and the letter still has not arrived in Kansas

I've had a few people there who have been very kind, however... 1. A lady was mad at me because I asked her not to leave packages on top of my trash can. I did ask nicely. The place I wanted them left was actually easier for her to walk to. 2. We had a certified letter for someone else left in our po box that we only check very rarely. It had been there a month. Who knows how important it was to that person. 3.We had left a forwarding date when we moved, and for some reason the mail we were getting (I saw on informed delivery) before that date was removed from our mailbox and forwarded. No idea why. I went to check, and nothing was there. 4. Received a pkg that was covered in some kind of wet chemical smelling stuff. It was horrible. Just not that great :/

They don't deliver packages to my door. They leave false statements in the notes section with excuses like "Customer changed their delivery status to pick-up" or " Couldn't find a safe place to leave package." Or my favorite, when I was home the entire day and they say that nobody was home to receive the package. When they do actually deliver a package, they leave it on my neighbors porch.

Honestly they are really good. I just don’t like how lately they been leaving my packages down stairs in apartment complex by the door and not bringing them up to my apartment number and someone open my package or my packages have gotten stolen because they are being lazy.

Tried to use the online portal to update my address. The portal is entirely too slow and when I finally got to the end- It wouldn’t accept my card number even though it still charged my card.

Fill in mail lady will not deliver my mail if my security door is open and she is really rude and disrespectful. We always have problems with her and so does other people. I done filed several complaints on her. Then when you chase her down for your mail she has an attitude and says she doesn't have to give you the mail and holds it. I'm really getting sick and tired of it!!!!

It would be great if they would put packages delivered by the front door. The last time they delivered a package they put the package in water and put ruts in my yard. Today they delivered one and it is roasting in the sun. I even put a note in the mailbox so they would not put it in the same place as last time....and they did.

Done business with these people for years and over 550 packages sent and they screw one up and they make it impossible for you to file a claim.Locked me out of my account so I can't do it.Use anyone elseUpsFedEx Speedy delivery DHL is even looking better at this point.
