“I have a very old and fairly unusual rocking chair that needed reupholstery, and trusted it to Creations & Style Upholstery. They did a fantastic job, I could not be happier. They also recovered the seats on six dining room chairs that are about 100 years old; they look fantastic as well. Would recommend them without reservation.”

“By far, the BEST in the business. They pay top dollar for Gold/Silver/Diamonds. They have great customer service and are honest and fair. I've gotten quotes from other places and every single time Cash4Gold in Algonquin's offer is above all the rest!”

“I had owned a Hepplewhite chest-on-chest for nigh on 3 decades, and it was past time to restore it. The mahogany veneer was loose at the base, and the corners of the upper chest were quite ugly with the veneer long gone. After only 2 centuries (!), the glue had loosened, internal parts had fallen off and drawers could not be opened. And that wasn't the half of it! So I called Caledonian--one of the best decisions I've ever made. Their knowledge and workmanship are without peer. Not only did Caledonian restore the piece perfectly, but Barrie shared information about the chest-on-chest that I never would have found on my own. These gentlemen are experts; I would not entrust my antiques to anyone else.”

“The owner and her staff are very attentive and greet everyone with a smile and when you leave her establishment she always says THANK YOU FOR COMING ? regardless if you purchase or not. You can find unique gifts for just about every holiday or birthday! However if you see something BUY IT! BECAUSE IT WONT BE THERE WHEN YOU COME BACK! I can't say enough about this little gem in Libertyville.”

“Stopped in for the first time with a friend on Saturday. We both found so many interesting antiques and home decor items that we were there a couple of hours without realizing it! Proprietor Monica is very knowledgeable about all the items in the store, whether they are labeled or not. You are allowed to walk around without disturbance, but Monica is very willing to help if requested. If you are looking for unique vintage home decor items, be sure to stop in!”

“I went into the store with three lamps that needed shades. The woman that assisted me was extremely helpful and even fixed something on one lamp that had cracked. She gave great suggestions and spent a lot of time with me trying different options. I will definitely be back!”

“A wonderful collection of unique items....If your not on their email distribution list you should be. I have purchased many wonderful pieces from them which have included cement garden pots, garden statues, vintage plaster wall plaque, display case and the list goes on and on. Love the shop, the owner is a wonderful hostess and always open to chatting and providing advise on other stores to pop into that match your style. One of the few antique shops in the area that truly updates their stock and takes pride in the display and quality of what they offer. The weekly emails are always current and sometimes even provides info on local antique events.”

Though they didn’t take furniture like I had originally hoped, this is an adorable shop. Love that!Great shop for gift ideas and with the Holidays around the corner I recommend!”
