Also the place for Simpson Strong Tie connectors which are the thing to use in construction.
They also carry manila rope handy for lashings projects.

Rented a floor sander and they were very helpful explaining how to use it and how not to break a piece that costs 160.00 to replace lol. Good job guys, you made it easy.

Went into this Home Depot and if you ask about where a certain product is, usually they actually guide you on where to go. They had two people on duty standing in the front who both refused to leave their post. It's true from reading the other posts that customer service is overrated here. You have to seek out help here, so I'd recommend you update your customer service training skills

The Mundelein HomeDepot is by far the BEST HD in the area! I’ve always been greeted with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. Every employee treats you like you are family. Always eager to assist without being too overbearing. It’s very easy to find an employee if I do need assistance with locating an item, questions about a particular product, and even reaching products that not within reach. Another big reason the Mundelein store is my favorite is, IT’s CLEAN inside and outside!

A few weeks ago my 5 year old GE dishwasher broke (purchased from Home Depot). I don't have the extended warranty so decided to order a new kitchenaid dishwasher from Home Depot. The first available delivery date was 3 weeks out...so I have been hand washing dishes for over 3 weeks now. (I know, 1st world problems). So the delivery date was approaching...2 days to go, when Home Depot told me the delivery address was incorrect. I blame it on the auto crap on computers. Though I should have double checked it. Well they can't possibly update the delivery address. Instead, they have to cancel my order, I have to wait 3-5 business days to get my refund, and then I can place the order again They can't initiate my refund until Maytag picks up the dishwasher from their warehouse. Sounds like a ridiculous process to me. Meanwhile I'm here washing dishes by hand while $1000+ is floating out there for Home Depot to get their crap together. Beyond annoyed! I went into the store and no one can help me. Seems illegal that they hold my money for an item I do not have! May be I should report them for stealing my money.
