I'm hesitant to come back because I heard the workers in the back room discussing which items they would like to keep.

I am a former resale shopowner and recovering shopaholic and I have not LOVED a resale shop like this in many years. I usually walk around resales and find nothing exciting. Everything here is only the best of what is donated. The furniture was beautiful and bargain priced. They had a lot of high end home decor. I bought candles and candleholders, a down throw, a winter coat, a large canvas picture, a book, a cd, 4 new or like new designer clothing items and with the discount it was only $100. More than I have found at a resale in many many years! There was a beautiful pair of living velvet living room chiars for only $49 each that I wish I had room for! A lot of the clothing was new with the tags on it. I bought a few designer tops that were upwards of $200 on poshmark and ebay for only $20, PLUS if your are over 62, you get 20% off everything on Tuesdays. I can't wait to treasure hunt here again and check out the other locations.

Always go here until today , cashier is rude and surprisingly high prices here today, and got a tax for $11 of which I’m appalled. Definitely Not coming back.

Clean and organized and racks are not over- packed. This thrift store makes it easy to find new treasures. The customer service was kind and helpful. Bonus- this is a charity that helps women and their children!

This place is not convenient for me but I keep coming back because there's so much stuff there. Whether you're looking for clothing, furniture, toys, knickknacks you name it they have it. The prices are good and you can become a part of their rewards program. I am almost 100% sure the proceeds go to Charity. Much better than Goodwill or Salvation Army.

I want to support Sparrow but they keep changing their hours with a handwritten sign on the door and NOT updating their website, or yelp. NOT appreciated after driving up from Schaumburg cause they are open till 6 to find them closed at 5. Small, dark, poorly marked parking lot shared with a rental car busyness and others. Beware.

Pretty ungrateful people work here. I donated a lot of clothes today thinking donating here would be a better place since it’s smaller than goodwill or the Salvation Army but unfortunately I was made to feel like a burden for leaving my items in front of the door of the donation location instead of inside. I explained that I had kids in the car but still got a bad attitude from the people that work here.

The selection isn't so great, things don't often change around there, but besides that I find Sparrow's Nest to be one of the best thrift stores in town in terms of cleanliness. The atmosphere is very nice and doesn't have any overpowering smell. The workers are incredibly nice, and the prices aren't as high.

This place is the holy grail of thrift stores. They have cool stuff, it is clean and organized, the staff is very friendly, prices are excellent, and its for an objectively good cause. They don't have the same item turnover as the big box places but I still check back every once in a while and I always find something!
