“Trudy is an amazing woman!! She opens her store every for the Applefest parade, not for business, but to help kids in the parade, that have become overheated. My daughter passed out from the heat, and she was welcomed into the store to get cooled down. Trudy dutifully watches as each band passes by, with bottles of water in hand. I cannot thank her enough for her generosity and kindness. The city of Murphysboro is truly a better place, thanks to her!”
