The new guy in the pharmacy drive through window isn’t very friendly. He’s definitely someone who needs to work in the back and not directly with customers. He’s not done anything bad in particular, but he would be much better suited in a storage room or a basement or something. Four stars because this Walgreens is great. One star deducted for pharmacy man.

Terrible pharmacy. Been waiting on pain medicine for my wife after a dental extraction and can't get it because the pharmacist there won't do her job apparently. Switched to Walmart pharmacy a while back for typical medicines and only came back here because Walmart was out of stock. Great reminder why I stay far far away from this place.

The Walgreens Pharmacy in Murphysboro, IL is hands down the best pharmacy in the area. They are quick, efficient, kind, and knowledgeable. Each member of the staff is amazing, but I have to give extra props to Jasmine. She's ALWAYS able to solve any issue my family has or give us an explanation as to what we have to do to address the issue. I can't count on both hands and feet the number of times she's solved an insurance or medication issue. Thanks for always being there for us!

I have worked for Uber for 2 years and have domicile in Carbondale. Carbondale is 7 miles away from Murphysboro, so a round trip is 14 miles. My car gets 15-17 miles per gallon, and a gallon of gas is anywhere between $3.50 to $4.00.
Today I accepted an order from Uber to pick up medicine from the pharmacy in Walgreens for over $12.00, but after arriving, learned that the pharmacy was closed. Not only did I not know this, but Uber did not know it as well, and requested a picture of the hours of operation to verify my lack of completing the order.
Uber also explained to me that I was only compensated $3 because of the type of order and that Walgreens failed to inform Uber of their hours.
In other and shorter words, I used more of the cost of gas alone than I was paid from Uber. This is not Uber's fault, this is Walgreens fault for not keeping their records up to date with merchants.
I hope this doesn't happen to me or anybody else again. I will be aware of this the next time.

Murphysboro Walgreens is hands down the absolute best drug store I've been to. I've had to go to Walgreens in 4 states due to my husband's work move, and out of all of those, Murphysboro Walgreens has the best staff! Kelsey, the pharmacist, has been nice and helpful and she goes above and beyond! As does all of the staff I've encountered, Kylee, Kayla and Alex are all so very kind and helpful and go above and beyond to make you feel better. Thank you guys for being awesome!
