The only thing that orange the two star rating is the fact that they are still a decent store as far as merchandise and availability given the small town.
The atmosphere is inviting, and the layout of the store is magnificent.
Unfortunately the staff is a little bit condescending and that's putting it lightly. I guess you have to know what you're getting before you arrive. No shopping allowed. The woman up front immediately waved down some other lady and they both went out of the way to follow us along what we needed.
I had some extra money, and wanted to browse. At the checkout they asked if I had a Candybar wrapper, but it was just the wrapper to a beef jerky I was thoughtful enough NOT TO JUST LITTER. I wasn't stealing. Or was obvious what was being assumed. They even followed us out of the store.
And sadly this is EVERY TIME I GO IN. NOT A FIRST OCCURRENCE.

Good Local business. The only downfall is their hours and some things are higher priced than the big hardware stores but the convenience makes it worth it.

Wright Building Center has high quality materials and knowledgeable people. I know they will be able to help me when I have a question. I needed to order a small amount of siding and the big box stores (Lowe’s and Menards) could only order a full box. Vanessa at Wrights was quickly able to order exactly what I needed and it came in a few days. This is only one of my many high quality experiences at Wrights. I appreciate our local businesses.

They had two contractors that were bad. Jeremy and John. They dropped my screen door and put it on anyway. I didn’t realize something was wrong until after I had signed off on the work. They were careless in several other ways also. But Wright has fixed everything. If Wright does work for you just be sure everything is how you want it before you sign off. They have good contractors now. One especially, Heineken.

Rude and dismissive. Many years ago I had a remodeling business in Jackson County. Now retired and back visiting grand kids doing a small project. I want to support local businesses as always, not longer. The elderly cashier was very rude. No your total is or nothing. Just demand of cash and finished with 6 cents. Dropped the change in my hand. Didn't even look up and give me my receipt. The nerdy boy that was following my son in-law though the store Hand it to me.
