I've shopped at Naperville Ace Hardware for years, and it's a consistently great experience. The store is always clean and well-organized, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you find exactly what you need.
What really makes this place special for me are the memories. I remember coming here as a kid and being so excited to see their pet monkey! It's those unique, charming details that make a local hardware store feel like part of the community. It's more than just a place to buy tools; it's a place with character and great service. I highly recommend it!

Fully and partially empty shelves and displays everywhere. Inventory not maintained.
No surprise they were out of the plumbing repair parts I was looking for. Standard items any "good" hardware store should have.
Get a new owner who knows how to manage inventory and restock. What a joke.
UPDATE:
Went to another ACE last night and found everything I needed. This naperville location is a joke.....

It may not have the selection of Home Depot, but what it DOES have are people who are friendly and knowledgeable. Literally, you could walk in with a screw and there’d be someone who knew what it was and knew where you could get more.
