“Only coin shop i will do business with. They treat everyone with the upmost respect whether you are buying a silver dollar or a oz of gold. I rarely sell but recently sold a little bit of my collection. They offered a very fair and competitive price. The people that work there are polite and welcoming even when they are extremity busy. They kinda make you feel like your part of the family. They don't just shoot you a price on the whole lot they sit down with you and tell you exactly what they will offer on each larger piece or the price they offer on a lot of scrap silver. One of the best coin shops around to be honest.”

“Paid a quick visit last weekend before grabbing dinner and really was only able to fit in a quick tour. Returned today on 08/17 when I had ample time to really dig in and have a look-see at their wares. It's an amazing shop with extremely welcoming and helpful workers who look like they genuinely enjoy being there and are open to lending a helping hand when needed. The shop is filled with a legion of quaint items and objects ranging from adorable and quirky drinking vessels to haunting, intricately carved wooden African masks. It's verily worth a visit to swing by and encapsulate one's self in this time capsule disguised as a humble abode, for to step inside is to travel time, and where you're going, you won't need roads!”

Ultimate Treasures is not only an amazing antique & thrift store filled with ANYTHING you could ask for from couches to art to movies to books to clothes to even good condition used toiletries & cooking products even TJ’s brand olive oil well hell you name it… BUT it is an incredible first date idea (like guys- write this down)! You can go exploring down every aisle & always find something incredible & worthwhile! This store has so much to offer though seriously. “This is a great thrift in a great little downtown area in Glen Ellyn. Lots of great, higher-end decorations and homewares that you don't see in other thrift stores. They had some smaller pieces of furniture like chairs and coffee tables that all looked in great condition. In the back of the store there are racks of nice clothing. I didn't see anything that was dirty, smelled, torn, or damaged.”

Altogether, almost 20 hours of my life to show you, what I thought...was the better part of my worldwide stamp collection.

I had placed an enormous time and effort filling in those pages, buying albums. I looked into every stamp, and some even more than once.

I appreciate that I know more what will sell. Canada, Australia, China, Korea, Russia, Tannu Touva, Nyasa, my better sets within Italy, and Dutch Semipostals.

I will have to form an online store to sell those pieces. Thank you for your 45 minutes with me.

Btw, I had spent over last 2 1/2 years, ~$3400, on my collection. I was hoping to hear a number. As a rule of thumb, it is said that dealers would pay 10 cents on the dollar. He would not give me an estimate, since he did not think my collection was valuable, but a few of the pieces, and my Korean, Chinese and Russian collections had salability.

My worldwide collection was not valuable. I had estimated by partial worldwide collection to have estimated catalog value between $30,000 & $55,000. This is not valuable. Also, practically all the stamps must be in very fine albums. Unhinged is best. This is not my worldwide collection. Which is I amixed bag and hodge podge of used, mostly hinged, with few higher value stamps, and many sets, but still more than half empty.

I was told stamp collecting is not an investment but a hobby.

“I've been to this store many times and I really like it. It's a hidden little gem. The parking can be a little tricky but it is jam packed with antiques and actual antiques not home goods items like most "antique" stores I have been to lately. The owner is very nice actually and she talks to you. I enjoy talking to her so I don't understand the other reviews. She lets you browse and shop around just fine. I always buy something. This is hands down my favorite antique store. Just wish she was open on Sundays. That's my favorite day to go to antique stores!!”
