“The professional talents and personal attention received at Colbert's are unmatchable. As an illustrator/artist, their attentions to details and redo's are a significant part of my successful projects.”

“Nestled quietly among the vibrant collection at Gallery 200, Cup of Joe by Corinne Condos is not simply a painting—it is an invitation. An invitation to pause, breathe, and contemplate the quiet poetry in the ordinary. In a world that moves too fast, Condos has created a sanctuary on canvas, a timeless stillness that beckons the viewer to step inside and sit a while.

The composition is deceptively simple—a solitary coffee cup resting on a modest surface, bathed in the golden hush of early morning light. But within this simplicity lies the genius of Condos’ vision. She captures not just the physical object, but the emotion of the moment: that first sip of warmth, that gentle lull before the day begins in earnest. It’s a visual haiku, perfectly balanced and deeply evocative.

Technically, the painting is masterful. Condos’ brushwork is soft yet deliberate, lending texture and depth to even the smoothest ceramic surface. Her use of light is particularly striking; it dances across the rim of the cup and glows softly on the surrounding table, suggesting an unseen window nearby, and with it, a story. The color palette—muted earth tones with subtle hints of warmth—mirrors the palette of life itself in its most grounded moments. There is no pretense here, no attempt to dazzle with excess. Instead, the artist trusts the subject—and the viewer—to find richness in restraint.

What is perhaps most remarkable about Cup of Joe is its emotional resonance. It feels deeply personal, as though it belongs to a memory we’ve all shared—a quiet morning alone, or a peaceful hour with a friend, fingers curled around a ceramic handle, steam curling upwards in lazy spirals. The painting doesn’t just depict stillness; it offers it. And in today’s chaotic world, that is an invaluable gift.

Corinne Condos shows us that beauty doesn’t always shout. Sometimes, it whispers. Cup of Joe is a quiet triumph, a meditation on presence and simplicity, and one of the most emotionally stirring works on display at Gallery 200. It is art that doesn’t merely demand to be seen, but gently requests to be felt. Thank you for this experience. #CupOfJoe3”

“Law saved/ restored our leaded glass window, which is original to our 1890’s home. He did a fantastic job, re-leading the entire piece! He gave us several options on how to restore the piece, being considerate of our budget. He was very honest and communicative throughout the entire process. Law is a true craftsman and is very gifted. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know needing glass work done.”
