I have always rented from Avis and Naperville. Eddie and his staff have been great. I’ve never had a problem with any of the cars and they are always clean when I get them. 5 star!

I am horrified. It is 930 at night. And I am sick to my stomach. I rented this vehicle. I drive for Uber the first week on February 23rd I pay $356 on my BMO secured card. They did not tell me that Avis releases the funds back to my car. And then I spoke with Eddie yesterday. They took 357 off my debit card. He told me they couldn't do it again because of my credit yet. I secured the car with a credit card and then now. He purchased a rental for $508 and put me in the negative on my secured card after we agreed yesterday that I would pay with the Uber pro card. That's coming in the mail this is a nightmare

Eddie is a great guy and exceptionally honest. He really looks out for his customers and has their best interest in mind. Particularly for Uber and Lyft drivers, he has got your back.

Incompetent, lazy, billed for tolls every week and you return the car and still get charges somehow double. will change up policies without notice.

Eddie is a perfect employee. However the people that work for/ with him are rude as I’m crying explaining that I had no time to get what needed to be done given enough time I would have. I was told it doesn’t matter. Customer service is necessary for businesses to thrive. I hope this employee knows how to handle customers better instead of making them feel incompetent and dumb.

I would like to share my experience with Avis in Naperville as I believe that they are all sincere and work very hard as a team! I have only received exceptional customer service from Eddy, Vicky, and Kevin, but I look forward to meeting everyone else that works at the Naperville location! Now besides working for Uber I am also the Director of Operations for a small Illinois based security firm, so after being in Operations for over 12 years I can always tell why any business is having the great success Avis Naperville is having. And that success always starts with a great Leader (Eddy) along with a well trained and trusted team (Vicky, Kevin and others). With that said as long as Eddy continues as Naperville’s leader, I will continue doing business with all of them moving forward!

I just want to say my experience has been great so far, of course there are hiccups here and there but it’s about how the company chooses to help resolve and figure things out. Eddie has been exceptional! I am renting as a Uber driver and he always always goes above and beyond to help work through any situations regarding the vehicle I’ve rented (rather its services that it needs, payments, issues etc.) when I say him and his team have worked with me and have been honest and the most understanding, I truthfully mean that. You give respect you get it ?? Thank you guys so very much for your great customer service. I appreciate it and glad to be doing business with you all. Thanks Eddie, Ali, and the sweet Lady that works with you all! (Apologies if I can’t remember the name at the time of writing a review) please keep up the great work!☺️????

Very unprofessional haf reservation for few days in advance car was not cleaned when I came to pick so they washed while i waited soon as I drove off the lot maintenance light came on so I came back and was told they will give me a diffrent car then they just reset the light when I returned the car they charged me for an extra day even tho I called and asked if it's OK for me to return it after hours due to they don't provide drop off service. Eddy the manager was not professional at all. One is better off renting from enterprise.

We had a reservation (made through Costco for this location) and received a call exactly one hour before our scheduled pick-up time of 12:30 p.m. The call informed us that there were no cars on the lot, and we'd have to wait until 5 p.m. to see if a vehicle would become available. Importantly, there was no promise of a guaranteed vehicle, even after waiting an additional 5 hours. When we inquired if they could check with another location to see if a vehicle was available elsewhere, we were told that this responsibility fell on us. They were unwilling to make any effort to find alternative vehicles to fulfill our reservation.What was particularly infuriating and unacceptable was the comment from the store manager, who said, "Out of the five other people holding reservations with unavailable cars, 3 of them have been so kind as to agree to wait until 5 p.m." This comment seemed to imply that we were somehow selfish for wanting to pick up the car at our reserved time. This was a very poor customer service approach and choice of words.Subsequently, the store manager gave us 2 options: wait 5 hours to see if a car would eventually become available or cancel our reservation.With no viable options for immediate transportation, we were forced to cancel. The end result was that we had to make a new reservation at a higher price than originally agreed to in our Costco reservation. So much for planning ahead, securing a reasonable price, eliminating stress and securing a rental car.While we've experienced a few minor rental car issues with other providers, we have never encountered such a lack of willingness to work with customers to find a solution. It makes us question if this location actually rents vehicles.The main takeaway from this experience is that at this location, a reservation with a specified time and date for pick-up, or assistance in finding alternative solutions to provide the customer with a car as promised, means nothing. If you absolutely need to be somewhere and must depend upon renting from this location....Beware, because they will not have your back in a pinch. Save yourself a headache and have a look at the competitors.

OK-- I rent from AVIS almost exclusively and have done so for more than 20 years. Their service is far and above other agencies. In particular, I want to give a shout out to the team at the Naperville, IL (Ogden Avenue location). This agency, staff and leadership are the best. They always work their butts off to accommodate you and ensure that you have an awesome rental. Use them if you are in the area, for sure! Thanks folks!!
