This branch of Bank of America recently tried to steal $24,000 from a Naperville woman. They refused to offer any explanation for why they closed her account, denied that she even had an account and still refuse to explain their actions. Shenanigans like this are common in Third World countries like Greece and Hungary. In those countries, whose economies are in freefall, banks lack legitimacy. They engage in fraud and steal from their depositors at will. Institutional theft like this happening in America is proof that we are backsliding into Third World levels of corruption. I'm happy this woman got her money back, but beware. The worst is yet to come.

ATM machine malfunctioned when depositing an important cashier's check. The machine gave the card back but kept the check. The customer support representative says it can take up to 45 days for Bank of America to "clear up the dispute." Several days have gone by and no response or follow up from the bank. Sadly, all these large banks are the same. They do not care about their individual clients.

Trying to call and to talk to someone at BOA is impossible. They have all your money but you have to make an appointment to actually speak to someone. Then they send a response that doesn't offer any resolution to the complaint. Customer service at it's worst!

This specific bank and manager Maria are useless. I have never had such a poor experience with a bank. Today I closed my accounts after being a customer for 11 years. Steer clear of BoA and this specific bank. Believe the bad reviews and bank literally anywhere else. after the took money from one account and put it in the other with permission and refused to correct, Maria told me “hopefully everything works out” in a condescending way. After explaining that if the didn’t I couldn’t pay rent. What a spiteful individual. So I let her know it’s her fault and said “F”this place and left.

Overall, we had one of the worst house closing experiences with Bank of America. As first time homebuyers, we were hoping for a smooth process but instead our closing was delayed by more than 24 hours and we went to the signing location twice and unable to complete signing because Bank of America was unprepared. They kept blaming a different department and said they were trying to get in contact. As a big bank, you would think they have their stuff together but it is the opposite. The closing date was communicated months in advance and was still missed. The lender wasted hours of our time and the real estate attorney as we sat in a room waiting and we called the lender multiple times with him telling us he was working on it. I will never use them again even if they have the best rates... it was a total nightmare experience . And even today, I still think about how I never want to go through that again. I will never be using Nick Ostrander and Bank of America in the future. I rarely write reviews but this was so terrible I want to warn the world to never use them. And they wouldn't even provide any proper credit back for the waste of time... we just feel stuck now but wish we could change. Our closing was months ago and I am still just as frustrated when I think back on it.

Stopped in to make change.I was refuse service since I am not an account holder however I am a stockholder and as somebody who took a vested interest in Bank of America. it is sad to see the training that this branch is giving to their employees. I felt that it was very rude and inconsiderate to be questioned and refused as a stockholder. I would like to see Training to avoid this Type of behavior from this branch
