Went in to buy a few things, and went up to the cashier. Mind you I don’t expect much from the dollar store, and the people who work there are nice 99% of the time, but I do expect at least a bit of customer service. I placed half my items to be checked out on the counter and the cashier, informed me that line 2 was open, I was kind of taken aback and surprised since most of my items were already there, but she raised her voice and said it again and turned her light off. I had to take my things and move, the customer in front notified her that she had been rude, and she said she hadn’t been. She went back and forth with the customer, again being rude. I told her she was rude, that if she wanted to close all she had to do was say so. She then got another customer involved that wasn’t even there in line with us. I know retail is a crazy business and sometimes the job is a little too much, but next time if you go in here and you see a cashier with wild looking hair and thick glasses go to the next cashier, maybe it’ll spare you the rudeness and total lack of customer service I experienced.

This staff is always unprepared and rude as ever. They make my buying experience terrible. I try to get in and out. This store is severally understaffed and these people have no professional etiquette

This lady is rude! It's the older African Americans lady this is the second time she's rude . I came in today and she was tapping on the counter to get me to place my things, not a hi not a thank you have a nice day. Girl go get yourself a better job if you hate being here. There's awful reviews about the cashier dollar tree what are you doing ??? Please hire respectful people .

Everything they sell there is made very cheaply!!! I bought 3 items there and had to throw it all away!

Awful service from the cashier, I was just here a minute ago. I told the lady I did not wanted two of the items, she went ahead and emptied by bag by letting all my things fall on the sliding mat, it was so easy for her to just take both items that were big so they were easily accessible, will never come here again, I don’t care if she was having a bad day, I can just imagine how she services her elders. At no point was I rude and I asked kindly, I’ve always said, treat others with respect just like you would like to be treated, also there was no one else waiting to pay so I don’t understand her rudeness nor lack of empathy. Cashiers name is Ciara.

Rude cashier, not a hi how are you, have a nice day. Of course with an attitude. This place has really gone downhill! If you don’t like this type of work, don’t work here. If I could give it a zero I would! Looks really bad on management. Zero on customer service. Cashier name was Ciara

They locked their doors 10 minutes before close! It says closed at 9! Doors should not be locked until 9pm!! Unprofessional! All i needed was 2 packs of toilet paper!!

1 cashier on a Saturday afternoon. The line is literally up to the entrance. I have never seen such a mess at a dollar tree. The manager should be ashamed. I've been waiting almost 45 minutes and I'm not even half way to the checkout

My underage son was verbally abused and threatened in the chip aisle by the threatening male employee stocking the chips. Made a formal complaint via the Dollar tree website and never heard back. People of Naperville, please do NOT shop here.

Went to this location about an hour ago and upon getting home realized I didn't have a few of my items. I called the store after three attempts and was given an attitude about the items left behind once I asked if I could pick them up tomorrow. The person I spoke to named Sean seemed like he had an attitude the entire conversation and when I asked if my items could be left in the back with a name possibly on them he said he'd leave them at the cash register & hung up.
