Let me start off by saying that the store manager is extremely rude. I bought a gift card from this location and the last 4 digits of the card number and the security code on the gift were scratched off. I went back to the store for a return with a recipt, hoping to get help on the matter because the card was clearly tampered with before i purchased it, but the manager was very rude and said there was nothing she could do about it. She then insinuated I had something to do with it and asked me why it took me so long to make the return even though I gave her a valid reasoning. This is NOT how you treat customers. For anyone reading this, please do not buy gift cards from this location- they are clearly tampered with, the manager will be of no help and you'll lose money!

It’s disappointing that the Dollar Tree in Naperville is being managed by someone as rude and unprofessional as MONICA. As a taxpayer in this area, I expect higher standards of management, and unfortunately, this experience was anything but that.
I purchased a Bai Blueberry drink, only to find that the seal was broken. I had the receipt and the drink with me, but MONICA refused to accept the return. She stated that she couldn’t put it back on the shelf, but with a broken seal, the item should never have been sold in the first place.
When I expressed my frustration, MONICA responded dismissively, stating, “You bought this on 12/7, today is 12/10.” I explained that the store was overcrowded on Saturday with only two cashiers (one of them an assistant manager), and that the store was disorganized. I also pointed out that no one would be willing to wait in line for 30 minutes just to return a product. Her response? “It’s the holidays.” I told her that was no excuse, but she snapped back with, “Why do you keep coming to this store then?” I explained that I live in Naperville and have shopped here for years without issues — until now.
When I asked for the corporate number, she arrogantly said, “They’ll come to me anyway.”
It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with a store manager who is not only ignorant and rude but also displays a lack of basic customer service skills. Her dismissive attitude, coupled with a troubling disregard for the quality of service in our community, is unacceptable. MONICA's behavior suggests she has no understanding of or respect for the expectations of Naperville residents.
Dollar Tree, if you plan to keep her on, I urge you to provide proper training in both customer service and professionalism. No customer should ever have to endure such treatment, especially from someone in charge of an entire store.

I have been a loyal Dollar Tree customer for years, but after my recent experience at this store, I am seriously reconsidering shopping here. I attempted to return several items, but the store manager was unprofessional, rude, and refused to honor Dollar Tree’s return policy. I was told I could not return items purchased at a different location, despite the policy clearly stating that returns can be processed at any store with the original receipt.
The manager’s hostile attitude, especially in front of my young child, was completely unacceptable. This behavior is not only damaging to customer trust but also reflects poorly on the Dollar Tree brand. I’ve had positive experiences at other locations, but this one needs significant improvement in both customer service and staff training.
I will not be returning to this store, and I hope management takes action to address the poor service.

I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the management at Dollar Tree (3103 111th St Suite 115, Naperville, IL 60564) regarding their handling of returns and customer service.
It has become clear that the management does not prioritize following company policy when it comes to returns. My recent experience was not only frustrating but unacceptable. The lack of clear communication and guidance left me feeling dismissed as a customer.
Due to this poor experience, I feel compelled to take further action by filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Attorney General’s office. No customer should have to endure such a frustrating experience, and I hope that by bringing this to light, improvements will be made to ensure better service in the future.

Found food items that expired in 2023. It's the middle of November of 2024 currently. Seemed very disorganized and unclean.

Always carts full of product sitting around. Staff is not very professional and usually making snide comments back and forth. This location needs some love.
