Rarely do I use the services of small suburban establishments, but this credit Union works with all,no matter your shape, color of your skin, or etc. My lil sister used them as well and told me about them. They give fair interest rates on loans. Willing to work with you if you communicate with them

Bad company. Employees fail to elaborate due to incompitency or the belief that they "can't make the maximum amount of money off you". If I could give zero stars I would.

Everything is nice and fine but their banking is over complicated and nothing works whatever they say. What used to work easily is now chargeable. And what they want is complicated and frustrating as hell. These are exactly the reasons when I feel like leaving and moving out immediately when the smooth process is disrupted. It's annoying!

This place really knows how to kick you when you’re down. I have been on a payment plan for the last 2 months due to work issues. The guy, John, on the phone decided to tell me I shouldn’t continue the payment plan and just get something cheaper. I told him that’s not really an option because I need a car to drive to work. His response? “So does everyone else in America” super rude when there’s clearly notes in there that I’ve been struggling financially. I understand they’re a business, but that’s also really not a way to speak to people.

I've been a customer for over 2 years with good credit 700 and little debt 11000 in credit card. I applied for a personal loan and was denied because I don't own a home. I've been at my job for 12years making good money with no late payments. Not only did they deny me they said they couldn't loan me anything and asked me to try another banking institution. Guess I'm going to take my business elsewhere.

Seriously the most disconnected car loan experience I’ve had. They had issues with emailingThey got the SS number wrongThey approved a loan then forgot to ask for important informationThey had to send the Docusign over 10 timesNo one at DCU could get a hold of anyone at DCU to make an appointmentWhen I tried to get the check through the drive through (like they said to do) they said they didn’t have itI had to call and wait outside carless since they don’t open until 1:00Then they screwed up the documents again.I can’t. Never again.I’ve been banking here for nearly ten years and I cannot believe the amount of frustration I had to go through to sign documents and pick up a check.

They did an upgrade and put the burden on the customer to create a new account instead of implementing their existing informoation. I haven't missed a payment, ever, since I was teenager. As a result, I have missed my first playment on my auto loan. Inexcusesable. Then the guy on the phone tells me they have been sending notices so it really isn't their responsibility. Thanks for the upgrade-- really helping the customer. Nice work-- I'll never use you again.

*UPDATE* I deleted my original review because after speaking to Tina Griggs and the terrible experience I had with her, I received a call from a Karen, who I believe is her one up the day after. I thought this was a call to let me know they reconsidered and will match/beat Chase's offer since I am a current member with excellent credit and history, that didn't happen. Karen went up but still wouldn't match Chase. Not only did she refuse to match/refinance which would save me 3%, she said "to make payments for a year and then come back". This is absolutely ridiculous, if I can afford to pay 3% more in interest with a competing bank, I can most certainly afford to pay YOU 3% LESS AND SAVE MONEY. ***VETERANS OF DUPAGE COUNTY AND ACROSS THE NATION***, don't waste your time, they don't value us. They won’t work with, match offers, or refinance a brand new 2023 vehicle EVEN IF YOU ARE A CURRENT MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING. SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT WILL VALUE YOUR BUSINESS, EXCELLENT PAYMENT HISTORY AND CREDIT.

This credit union will trap you and absolutely destroy your credit and make you jump threw hoops and ladders to set up payments and then charge you late fees cause the payments u set up get deleted on there end. Worst service ever and if u see there sign turn the other way and run!

Do not do business with this financial institution. They are predatory and offer you financial products to try to catch you in a loophole and then destroy your credit. Avoid if at all possible!

There is always 2 sides to a story The people of this local city apparently are picky and dramatic.

Agree with other comments on here; This is a waste of time as a local bank. They won't even handle your cash. They hardly staff anybody, and frankly, there are really really weak local non-option

Was locating for a local bank. But they want you to bank around there time and not around your own. So I guess they are not a good fit to bank with. And it was a waste of taking part of the work day off to try and open a saving’s account thru. And there response had no follow up. Saying there digital way to sign up. No I had questions and they where not being answered online if have to do all or most of my banking digitally I can keep my out of state bank. Local bank should be local not mostly digital.. Zero Stars

I've been satisfied for thirty years with DuPage Credit Union. Recently, I discussed with my CPA advisor, my son's suggestion that I switch to a 'big bank'. She disagreed saying, DuPage has been around for a long time and you can feel secure there. I am thankful for the professional, courteous and personal experiences. Major Kudos all around.
