When shopping for new furniture for our remodeling project this past fall, we were so lucky to stop at Naperville Ethan Allen and meet Roopa Dhiyogi. Since that time she has remained in contact guiding us in the purchase of our furniture . She immediately gained our trust in selecting fabrics, wood stain and even paint color. Now that our furniture has been delivered and we see her design come together we love it!! We so appreciate the quantity and quality of all the time she invested in us creating the perfect design for our remodeled open space. Working with Roopa was a wonderful experience and we highly commend her professionalism and design expertise!

Roopa was wonderful, helpful patient, creative and professional. We live in Az for the winter and we comeback to her to order our furniture for our Az home. Her customer service is outstanding. The fiurniture from Ethan Allen is beautiful, wellmade and it's our go to brand. Far superior to many brands and stores out there.

We had worked with Roopa previously, so had confidence that she could help us with our newly finished basement. She always takes the time to listen carefully in order to understand needs and preferences. We are very pleased with the result. Roopa’s experience and expertise helped guide us in our choice of furnishings. She made a house call to help us see how the fabrics and colors would look en situ. Highly qualified, but low pressure. Our experience with Pam, the interior designer, has been wonderful! With her guidance and expertise, she steered us in the right direction and the rooms we furnished turned out amazing! She is easy to communicate with, responsive, followed through on everything, and generally provides great customer service. Can't wait to work with her again!

Unfortunately I have to reduce my 5 star review to a 2 after the conversation I had today with our interior designer. We have been purchasing furniture from Ethan Allen for 38 years, steadily in the last 3. In September we purchased a bedroom set along with bedding. Bedding came within a week but just received the headboard November 30. Still waiting for the rest of the furniture. Opened the bedding once we mounted the headboard on the wall. The decorative pillow clashed. I was told it couldn’t be returned because it was past the 30 day return period even though i didn’t open it and wasn’t able to put it together with the headboard until the headboard arrived 2 months later. They did offer to exchange for some pillow shams on the sales floor which we did not care for. Keep in mind the pillow represents .009 of our total bedroom purchase price.Today after several emails back and forth, our interior designer called and told me that if they go outside the corporate rules to take back the pillow, the manager would get yelled at then the managers’s boss would get yelled at and so on up the chain. However since we could not work out a good exchange option, she said to bring the pillow back and they will give me a refund. I was then informed that Ethan Allen corporate does not care about how much business we’ve given them that no corporate company in today’s world cares anymore. It’s not like the old mom and pop shops. So I take from our conversation that Ethan Allen does not care about their customers or in retaining loyal customers. I don’t know that I can continue to purchase from a company that does not value my patronage.

I went to purchase a couch and Roopa designed an entire room around it. I ended up purchasing a chair and a rug. There are a few other accessories that I will be adding to the room as well. The quality of the furniture is excellent and the design Roopa provided exceeded my expectations. She provided pictures of what the finished room would look like and even worked with me on another room in the house. I will be back.

The task of furnishing an entire home, while very exciting, can also be overwhelming. Shopping at Ethan Allen made the experience enjoyable and painless. Mark Kulesza, our Ethan Allen Interior Designer, was a pleasure to work with and helped me make informed decisions on all my furniture choices. I highly recommend Ethan Allen to others who want quality furniture that is built to LAST. I will be back there soon when we start to furnish our basement!
