This ATM never takes all my cash when I try to deposit anything. It always sends some back and won't take it even if I try again. They really need to fix it people can't always make deposits between 9 and 5.

My father had unexpectedly passed away and I went into this bank to close out his account. The store manager Deepa was incredibly rude and insensitive to me and my family’s situation. She did not help me in any way and told us we needed an appointment when there was no one else in the bank waiting to be helped. She was very sarcastic and rude when explaining that she could not even freeze the account due to there being no cosigner yet later that day I also went to Chase Bank where they took care of freezing my father’s account there and had great respect for my family and I. Deepa told me “she did not have time for this” as my family and I were trying to take care of my father’s finances and left us with no information on next steps instead she said “more investigation” needed to be done even when my father is already dead and I clearly had proof of identification that I was his daughter. She was extremely unprofessional and made absolutely no sense. I feel awful for the other employees that have to work with her on a daily basis and would advise them to take their expertise elsewhere. I am sure no one who is suffering a loss wants to deal with any of this and I hope no one has a similar experience that I and my family did with Deepa and her lack of sympathy and knowledge.

If I could leave no stars I would. My father passed away almost three weeks ago and my sister and I went into Fifth Third Bank to hopefully close his accounts. Keep in mind my sister and I are in our early twenties and have not experienced anything like this before. Deepa, The Branch Manager has to be the worst human I have ever encountered. She was extremely rude, did not speak to me, was very inconsiderate of our situation and truly did not seem to want to give us the time of day. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with her on a daily basis. I personally have always been apart of Chase Bank and will continue to be so I don't ever run into Deepa again.

Possibly the worst bank I ever worked with. Lines take forever. I can go over a list of gripes. You would be wise to go elsewhere.You want to help? Reverse those charges you paid to my gym after I closed my account!

We've banked here for over a decade and the customer service just gets worse and worse and worse. I've been in line several times where there are two employees standing around and not waiting on anyone or helping one customer while not acknowledging that anyone else is waiting in line. It always takes far longer to go in to get anything done because of poor service. We now use the ATM for almost everything but went in today to use the notary. I made an appointment after calling and speaking to the branch. When we got there, they had us wait for at least 5 minutes while two people were helping one customer who seemed to be filling out a long pile of papers. The customer even said you can help the next customer, I'm going to be here for awhile. And the employee said "no, don't worry about it, there's no hurry, you're fine." Even though I was clearly waiting to be helped. I asked then if I was waiting in the right line for a notary and told me to take a seat and they would be with me. I asked how long it might take, and they then told me that they don't actually do notary services for property purchases. Even though we had made an appointment for a notary. So that was time wasted and extra indoor exposure during a pandemic that we didn't need. Just another poor experience in a series of bad experiences. We would change banks if it didn't take so much effort to redo automatic payments. But we're still considering taking our business elsewhere. It's too bad because they had excellent customer service when we first opened our account and the first few years here.

At first, I accidentally tried to enter through the back door, which understandably was locked. It was a hot day, and I appreciated the friendly teller at the drive-through window who guided me over to the drive-thru speaker and then the front door. Thank goodness there were no cars waiting in the drive-thru lane at that time. Resisted the temptation to ask for a Big Mac and fries. When we finally broke into the bank (aka found the front door and walked in), we were pleasantly surprised to find a clean, welcoming, no-frills atmosphere. We had made an appointment in advance, and it's always nice when people are on time! Jenell was fast and friendly, and we appreciated how she presented information about different accounts both clearly and concisely. Will definitely keep Fifth Third Bank in mind for future banking needs.

Mishandled payment of my real estate taxes. When I went back, neither teller nor her manager could fix their mistake. Had to make an unnecessary trip to the county building to get their mistake fixed. Incompetent and totally lacking in customer service.
