Fresh Thyme feels like a little oasis of fresh flavors and friendly faces. The store itself is beautifully laid out and well stocked, which makes strolling the aisles feel more like a treasure hunt than a chore.
A special shout-out to Assistant Store Manager Jen. She wasn’t just helpful, she was delightfully engaged. She guided me right to the items I needed and even tossed in creative recipe ideas.
Shopping here leaves you smiling, bags full, and dinner already halfway planned. Highly recommend! 🥑✨

lots of variety and options that you can't find anywhere else, but you pay the premium to find those things. great to dip in a grab a few specialty items; awful to do a weekly shop at as you're gouged on basic stuff

Fresh Thyme product needs better quality control. The croissant box was labeled as containing 8, but only had 7 - short by one croissant.

The employees at the Naperville Fresh Thyme are unprofessional and rude. Not only will I never return, but I’ve already told others how horrific that place is. I asked an employee where the baking soda was. This was my first time buying it, and I needed it for cleaning, not cooking. The employee, a short male with dark hair, mocked me and said, “Oh, I don’t know, why don’t you try the baking aisle?” When I responded with a sarcastic “thanks” and mentioned it was my first time buying it, he cut me off and said, “Is there something the matter with you? What’s wrong with you?”
I left without the baking soda and went to Jewel instead. There, the staff actually treated me with respect and didn’t make me feel worthless. I will never shop at Fresh Thyme again, even though it’s walking distance from my townhouse. I’d rather get in my car and drive to Jewel than ever set foot in your unprofessional, disrespectful business again. I used to shop at your store every other day for everything I needed. Now, even if I just need limes, I’ll gladly drive to Jewel instead.

PSA: Be mindful of how Black customers are treated at Fresh Thyme Market in Naperville…
I had one of the most upsetting and disrespectful experiences at this location on Thursday, July 17th around 7:51 PM. I came in on my work break to pick up just two items: a plant-based Italian beef and an avocado that was clearly placed in the section marked “4 for $5.” However, it rang up as $2.99.
What followed was nearly 20 minutes of frustration and poor treatment. A young cashier delayed helping me, questioned me about the price in a condescending tone, and then called a manager who treated me even worse. Not only did the manager refuse to honor the price I saw posted, but he also accused me of switching the avocado sticker—a claim that was extremely offensive and baseless.
I offered for them to review the security footage, and they refused. I felt racially profiled and disrespected over a simple produce item. As a Black woman, I can’t ignore how I was treated in comparison to how I’ve seen other customers treated here.
This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning to this store. I hope management will address how they treat customers with more respect and dignity going forward.

Great fruit selection, clean with healthy gourmet options. However, every time I have shopped at this store the cashier closes the only register well before closing time, thus leaving only 2 self checkout lanes open.
