Billy was not so customer friendly today! I asked to withdraw money from my account, he asked me if I had an account ??♀️ Like why would I come inside a credit union and ask to withdraw funds if I did not bank with you. Then verses putting funds in and envelope he laid the money down on the counter with the envelope. Like don’t work a job that involves you handling customers. Or Maybe it was just me! He was a horrible representation of GLU today

I would give them ZERO stars if I could! All locations near me closed. My ATM card was disabled due to not being used for six months I was never notified; found out when I tried to use my card on a Saturday night and was not able to reach a representative until the following Monday after waiting on hold for about an hour. They SUCK!

Definitely switching banks. It's very difficult to get a person on the phone, I was on hold for over 30 minutes. Also the reps are not knowledgeable about how their banks operates. It's better banks with better service out there.

Very unhappy with my experience with Great Lakes. My loan experience was fine - I PAID my loan off in March of 2023. Used my account # and routing # in several other places since then. Get a call today (June 2nd) that I still owe money and need to make a payment. For what? I paid this off. Apparently the rep claims my account was "frozen" and therefore my payment in MARCH was reversed and no one told me anything. I paid it off and saw the money come out of my account in MARCH and therefore did not feel the need to look at my "e-statements" because I do not bank with GLCU besides this loan. Now I am paying interest and ANOTHER $800 payment for the one I made months ago. My account is not and has never been frozen for any reason. Highly dissatisfied by the inconveniences and lack of communication throughout my time with this credit union and will be closing my account as soon as my payment is processed and posted for the SECOND time.

Best credit union i have ever been to everything was done professional all the workers there were nice especially the branch manager Cindy she is super nice and professional helped me with my loan and gave me a few pointers on future applications A+++++++?

Card maker did not work. Was told machine has been broken in the past. Waited for a while to not get a temp card and have to wait for a mail in that will take two weeks. Drove 30 min and waited 1 hour for nothing.

I never received any information about my auto loan rate unless I called them 5 days later. Got an email about 3 weeks later asking if I was still interested they would have to pull my credit again. Worst bank I've ever experienced.

Worst experience ever. I have a good credit and salary, I went there to see auto loan rate options, there was a lady(I don't know her name), she was in rush for my application and we did it in only 10 minutes. She didn't give any information or details about it she just said its declined. Do not waste your time.

If you’re going to have an ATM available outside your building for convenience, don’t have it closed along with your Sunday closed hours. ATMs should not (and most do not) have hours. Waste of time.

Worst online banking rollout! Have to make a brand new login BUT the online registry doesn't work! These guys are incompetent at best - who makes ALL their users create a new user name because they had to update their system - especially in 2021? This is unacceptable and whoever made this decision in corporate needs to get their position there reevaluated.

They started off great, but customer service is horrible. First they have management that is incapable of thought. They do not supervise the people working at home and therefore nothing gets done. They had no foresight to require at least 1 person to come in daily to obtain and process USPO mail. They never thought of having the people that work from home open and read and act on emails and electronic communication. Payments do not get processed. Takes them months to respond and they do not care they are the most unorganized people. Go to another credit union. They have people that work. They have the management to train and supervise the people so they are not sitting at home receiving a paycheck for doing nothing.
