Jim and Ryan were extremely helpful in the Chefs Kitchen, they hooked me up with Meatloaf on a Saturday when it's usually only put out of Wednesdays and they made sure I had proper instruction to reheat it as I was late picking it up. Thanks!

This is my neighborhood Jewel, and in general, it’s usually stocked and run above average. This jewel always has consistent rotating deals in the wine and spirits section. I also like that this Jewel has been carrying the high end and refined Quari ice in its various forms including large square cubes for elevated cocktails. I will also buy higher quality pastas and pasta sauces especially from Rao’s when they are on sale. This jewel also has a very good frozen pizza section. The produce section is normatively well kept and has good choices, and the deli counter is very good and carries Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. This jewel also makes better grilled and fried chicken near the deli counter. Far better than other locations.

I just got back tonight from shopping around 630pm with my daughter. I cannot give enough props to the employees in this store. My daughter was doing her handstand/interpretive dance (she’s 5) while walking around the store and while we were checking out, the nicest male store representative came up to her making her feel so special for her dance moves. I was in awe as it was such a genuine moment. While leaving the 3-4 team member who helped check us out and surrounding us made her feel so special! They all told her how amazing she was. She left so proud and happy. They changed someone’s day! The store was clean, organized as it should be but those employees are exceptional! I’m so impressed!

Check expiration dates - We pretty much stopped shopping at this and the other Naperville Jewel. We regularly came home with items well past their expiration date.In a bind, I stopped in last week (week of Jan-7-2024) to purchase some Jason's Maple Almond Butter. It was around $13.00. Today, my wife went to use it and saw that it had an expiration date of June 30, 2023.Unfortunately, I did not save my receipt (as I generally do not need to return groceries) so we are out the money.I realize that I should have checked the date. But, quite honestly, I'd rather shop in a store where that is not an issue.

Overall my experience at this JewelOsco has been a good one. I can always find and purchase what I need on my list, although I am not a fan of the split aisles. My one exception is the deli. I just left there today and without a doubt it was the absolute slowest service EVER in my 40+ years of grocery shopping. I cannot believe that I am the only one to notice this and/or bring it to someone's attention and if so, that nothing can be done to improve the service. I arrived at the counter with two clerks helping two customers and two people ahead of me waiting to be served. The clerks were working at such an incredibly slow pace, they might as well have been stopped, as the saying goes. Ok, five people to be served is not an inordinate amount of people; however, before long there was a line of at least five more customers behind me. My total time from arrival at the deli until I continued on with my shopping was 15 minutes. The customers ahead of me did NOT have large orders either. I would think as the line of people grew the clerks would have sensed some sort of urgency, and move at a bit faster pace. But, no. They just did not seem to care. And this has not been my first experience of this sort at this store. In my honest opinion, they should have a clerk on the customer's side of the counter taking orders to be picked up just prior to check out. I am not the type of person to complain, as I am in customer service myself and realize it is not an easy "gig." I normally commend service when it is due, choosing to let little things slide. After this happening to me several times now, I just had to write in to see if someone from the store has a reply. From now on, if what I need is not pre-cut in the self-serve case, I will buy my deli items elsewhere.

Every time I'm at jewel, Christine is the cashier. This time she was helping with self check. I try to avoid her at all costs bc she is so rude. This time I asked for her assistance bc I choose the wrong watermelon for what I had on the scale and the price came up wrong. I said, "I made a mistake, can you please help me?" Her response was, " ugh you chose the wrong watermelon!" Followed by a sigh and more sighing as she quickly punched keys to void what I had done. Then she had to fix her own mistake, so more sighing and then she says, "there, I fixed it." It's the snippy, snotty attitude that I find incredibly rude and unnecessary when you work in customer service.

The jewel closest to me on maple Ave has roasted chicken one day and the next they don’t. They are really inconsistent with the cook of the chicken as well. Sometimes the chicken is nice and seasoned and oftentimes the chicken is light in color and unseasoned. However this past week I have been visiting this location. I must say. Their deli has been stocked each day I visited and the roasted chicken was seasoned well every time . Cashier was really nice as well when I didn’t use self check out. Think I’ll continue to visit this location .

This has to be the worst Jewel in Naperville. Every time I go here, there's only one register open and my sale items always come up the wrong price. Several cashiers here talk way too much and are not good at multitasking. I recommend going elsewhere.

I have shopped at Jewel for a long time and I love it! Great marketers! I always see tempting offers above my original intentions on my shopping list! Right now I'm really grateful for the delivery option. Only three dollars! Oh, and only three more if your order is under $30. I really appreciate that right now.!

I don't like the cream I buy up on the top shelf where it's hard to get out..if you can get it out it gets squished trying to pull it out..they had the food and treats my cat likes,but we're missing a canned flavor she likes

The food displays always look so nice. Does Jewel have their workers straightening things all the time? If so, I never see them doing that. Jewel, please come to my house to straighten my cupboard out. Thanks!
