Unfortunately found the staff to be cold and short with us. Much more interested in talking with each other and treating us like they were very annoyed we decided to shop. Store is fine, but immature employees for sure.

I never knew of this place until few days ago. We went to Naperville Plaza to check KidsStrong next door but ended up at the Express Toys due to rain. Funny huh. We usually shop at FiveBelow for intricate unusual gifts & books which are uncommon in regular retailers and very much affordable being $5 and below, hence the name of the store.
In comparison with intellectual developmental games activities and toys. I’d say Express Toys is a nudge higher in rank vs FiveBelow. So are the prices. I took my time studying the inventory comparing with Amazon prices and they are just few $ apart cost-wise. While some items I haven’t even seen on Amazon, like ever.
I’d say most of the items this store carries are for intellectual IQ development where you won’t find in your regular shopping plaza. Which makes this place unique and one of a kind. They are pricy yet if you consider what benefit they will contribute to your child’s intellect, they are worth every penny in the long run. I was happy to see such verity of products available to view, touch, test located wall-to-wall up to the ceiling. It’s a small place but packed with good stuff.
I spent $150 on multiple items which I took my sweet time to study. And there weren’t toys. They were games, blocks, and other of that sort. We ended up staying longer than planned because the rain picked up and eventually purchased more items because they are available on display to test them out. My 5 y/o enjoyed magnetic dart throwing and he spent there 10 min while we waited out the rain to tone down. The magnetic version was very safe and comfortable to use. You could clearly see where the darts landed and my kindergartener was able to count out the numbers. So yay for him academics-wise.
I manually created a cardboard target at home which he used to shoot nerfs but the thing with those, they are so fast you can’t catch which number it landed on unless you pause a video on it. So I didn’t second guess on the magnetic version even for $34 of its cost.
Do I recommend this place? YES I do. Is it pricy, yes it is but you don’t have to hoard the whole store at one go. They have coupons, offers and seasonal sales. They have FREE gift wrapping and custom name labeling. If you spent a certain sum $ you’ll get certain discounts and promotions. As I mentioned I spent $150 on first buy and they gifted me a reusable bag which can be not just reused for groceries but if brought to the store again, it offers some deals on sales items of that week. Or something like that. I signed up for there promos and already received coupon offers towards next purchase. And since we will be attending next door KidsStrong program over the summer, we will definitely stop by that store again. So I advise you to check it out as well. It’s like Amazon in real life.

Love this store and staff. They've got promotions, deals, events, Facebook contests, etc, and are constantly updating their social media pages so you're up to date on all things going on there. The owner and staff members are super friendly, they greet you with a smile, and they're always looking to see if you need any help. My toddler will literally run into this store and play with their train table and toys. If the little one loves it, we love it!

First time I went in here was today and I loved it! Great selection of toys! I love the free personalization! I got my daughter a drawing table that sits over her legs on the couch and they personalized it with her name and bugs because she loves bugs! It’s SO cute!!
