I can't say enough wonderful things about Little Shepherd Day School! As a parent who values the importance of connecting children with nature, this preschool has exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked into the school, I could tell that Little Shepherd was a special place. The warm and nurturing environment immediately put me at ease with Ms Kristi at the helm. But what truly sets this preschool apart is their incredible nature program. The Nature Program at Little Shepherd is exceptional. It's not just about taking the kids outside; it's about immersing them in the world around them. The teachers guide the children through the wonders of nature, helping them explore and understand what they see. Whether it's observing insects in the garden, identifying different types of leaves, or watching the clouds float by, every outdoor excursion becomes a rich learning experience.Little Shepherd Day School inspires a deep connection with nature. It's heartwarming to see my child come home excitedly sharing new discoveries and stories about their outdoor adventures. I can see the positive impact this school is having on his development. They create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes growth and exploration. Thank you to the dedicated staff for making this preschool a true gem in our community!

I cannot say enough fantastic things about this school! Both of my boys are currently enrolled and have been attending LS for a year now. They’ve exploded with their development since attending, have made close friends, and are cheerful happy and playing every day when we pick them up. All of the teachers are thoughtfully selected (which is REALLY hard to do, to have all high quality staff that you feel comfortable guiding and being with your kids all day), and the entire staff is just wonderful. Even after we moved towns, We still drive out of our way just so that our boys can still go to school there. We will be sad when their time there comes to an end as they grow older!

All 4 of my children have attended this wonderful school and have flourished! Their curriculum is amazing and Kristi the director is such a pleasure to work with! Each and every one of my children have formed strong bonds with the educators here which has only helped them on their educational journey! We can't thank Little Shepherd enough for everything they have done for our family!

I worked there for a few months before resigning. From my experience, they expect too much, disregard, undervalue and under-appreciate their employees. They don't or refused to share proper information in a timely manner when asking employees to complete assignments then fault them for not completing it the 'right way'.

We drive over 45 minutes to come to this school! I toured countless schools and even signed my son up at a school closer to our home - it was a fight every day to get him to go! We've been going to Little Shepherd for almost a year now and my only regret is not finding this place sooner! In the morning, my son is out of bed and brushing his teeth so we aren't late to get to school! He literally came skipping out of the school the other day excitedly sharing that he "had so much fun at school today"! The kids are wonderful too and he has made so many friends and they greet each other each morning and play with each other. I also can't express enough how much this "Bev Goldberg" mom LOVES Ms. Therese, all the teachers, and staff my son (and I) interact with!If you are looking for a place that will calm your mama anxiety, a place where the teachers treat your child like their own and truly care about their growth and development, you can find it at Little Shepherd!!!

We love this school and we have seen our two kids flourish here. I can't say enough positive things about the staff and what a great experience we have had. When we moved from the city two years ago our oldest started with Ms Cassidy and she has been such a role model and we are so thankful she is still here now that our youngest is in her room. From the infant room to pre-k everything is so well thought out they have cultivated such a fun learning environment. Ms Therese, Ms Monique, Ms Alyssa, as well as many other teachers have made real impacts on our kids' development. If you are currently looking for a preschool you need to consider Little Shepherd!

Ours boys have been attending for about a year and absolutely love it. They have learned a ton and hate leaving at night.

I've been taking my kids to Little Shepherd for 3 years. This month will be our last as both kids will be in elementary school and I will definitely miss it.Walking into the building is a breath of fresh air. Their classrooms are full of learning materials and are always decorated (and constantly re-decorated) in such a way that makes me feel happy, and probably productive to creativity and learning. The kids artwork is always hung on display, and they are huge into nature. I toured a bunch of places before we decided where to go, and the others felt like mini prisons. No one was smiling except the tour guide, the walls were bare and the rooms were unorganized. I found Little Shepard to be the best first impression by far vs the other places I toured. It was the furthest from my house though, but I was willing to drive further to feel more comfortable that my children were in a good place. There was quite a bit of teacher turnover in my son's age when he was 3 (he is 6 now). My daughter has had the same teacher for three years, as she has moved up with their class each year, and I absolutely love her.So, I see others haven't felt the same, but in my 3 years, I have been very happy overall with LS. Hope this review helps.
