This place treats everyone like a thief now!!It used to be a nice neighborhood shopping location for us but this year it all changed. I had several experiences at self checkout where the screen showed a camera recording of me, a warning went off, and I had to wait for someone to check whether I scanned all my items. It is embarrassing! All I did was looking for where the barcode was on an unfamiliar item. And multiple times where my shopping cart got locked at the exit for no reason and a siren just went off like I stole something from them. COME ON! Today my cart was even empty, as I just picked up from the Starbucks (inside) and my kid wanted a ride back to our car.I can understand that the store might have loss due to theft and wanted security. But the system is really dumb and I do not feel like being treated with basic trust and respect. No fun at all!!

Disgusted by the new staff !! The customer service rep personally made me wait to charge me for a 90 cents worth apple that my baby ate !! While I was buying groceries worth $209 and that’s the minimum it ever gets !! Hope they find their way to better customer service !!

The supermarket is super good, but in the fast cashiers, they almost always have staff who do not know how to deal with the public, and by the way the volume of the cashiers is overwhelming, they use a volume that is not appropriate for the ears, I made a purchase 2 days ago and left with headache all ATMs were too loud, please adjust the volume

This location has started charging for paper bags and no longer have plastic bags. Was told for environment reasons yet almost everything I purchased had plastic packaging in one for or another. Don’t say this is for environment issues when we all know it’s to increase revenue in the form of virtue signaling.

Please take note. We were excited when Mariano's came to Naperville as it gave us a variety of shopping options. My daughter is a local college student and began working for Mariano's Naperville with their mutual understanding of her school schedule. All went well for the first semester. They then began scheduling her on the days she had school (the days originally agreed upon from the beginning had not changed). She spoke to her manager, Human Resources, sent emails, texts and also put her availability through the store app multiple times; however, they continued scheduling her on days she had school. She enjoyed her job; however, school had to come first; therefore, she had to quit. Management at this store is extremely poor with a revolving door. Beware if you are considering working for the Naperville Mariano's.New! More ways

Don't go to this Mariano's. They charge for bags. The one on New York Street doesn't. Go there instead.

Prices high if not on sale. Usually have only 1 or 2 staffed lanes open. forced to self check out and the registers are terrible - always have some issue requiring an employee to resolve and even worse now with bag policy change

Really upset Marianos changed their pizza. We tried it for the first time today. The new recipe of their pizza is much smaller, less sauce, less cheese, and doesn't come in a pan anymore. This was one of our go-to pizzas but no longer. Hope they change it back sometime soon.

The environment is a poor excuse to use to soak another fee out of your customers. Just like the one for register debit cash back. If naperville wants to institute a bag tax and send the money from that tax to environmental initiatives I'll happily pay that. This is just lining kroger's pockets

It used to be a great store with some unique and fantastic offerings. Kroger has made it more like their other stores now along with additional changes. For example, they recently implemented shopping carts that have a tendency to lock the wheels when you were trying to leave the building. People sometimes get stuck in the exit because of this. More recently, they have implemented a charge for bags for your groceries so if you choose to come here, remember to bring your own bags.

What a horrible Mariano's. I wait in line the find out several of my groceries were in the incorrect spot in the store and are not the price I expected. Then I have to bag my own groceries. Barb the "manager" proceeds to shrug it off and tell me she's short on help. It's no wonder she's short on help being such a poor manager. I have to go out of my way to get to a Marianos and will not be returning to this one ever again.

Bring back the registers at the sushi bar and salad bar! The sushi people are losing business if you don’t want to go wait in long lines to check out for just sushi! The manager is great though, need to pay night workers more money!
