Store is laid out well. Customer service is challenging. I asked 2 different associates help with finding holiday season decorations. They both pointed 👉 and no help with getting me there.

Store was kind of messy compared to other Michael's stores. Full carts left in the aisles. The Christmas villages were an absolute mess. Nothing plugged in or set up nicely. Compared to our normal Michael's in Joliet. It was well organized. And the Christmas village was set up and working nicely. The quality just doesn't seem to be as good. As it used to be!

Something new happened at Michael’s that has never happened before. I use my iPhone to make payment and it would not let it go through unless I put in a pin number. I never have used a pin number and no retail store ever has required me to use a pin number. That is the end of my shopping at Michael’s. Try Joannes or Hobby lobby. They don’t have that issue.

Meh, overall had a bad experience. The parking lot is poorly designed so I tried to park in 1 of the 4 curbside spots that were empty. An associate then stayed at my window and refused to leave until I moved my car.
I just wanted to go shopping at Michael’s- it was slow and all spaces were open.
So I moved my car. I when asked the associate if she could help me find something. She pointed me generically to the other side of the store. When I clarified I needed help and showed what I was looking for on online details, she said I should just shop online for it.
Seems like your associates are better parking monitors and trained to push people online. May be worth looking into what you’re training and monitoring. For now, I’ll just stick with online shopping cause it’s not worth stepping into a Michael’s.
