The vehicle was dependable, however the tank wasn't full and the vehicle smelled like it had been wiped down with a dirty rag dipped in dirty stale water. There were orange crumbs on the center console. Not clean at all. I returned it shy of a vacuum.

The manager called me personally to take feedback about the trip and also waived my fuel charges as a goodwill gesture . Wonderful experience.

I specifically rented from this location due to a vehicle that they said that they had. They ended up doing a bait and switch on me and I ended up with the vehicle that I did not want. Not only that I ended up having to wait an extra 20 minutes because the vehicle that I did not want, was not ready. Then to top things off they left me with zero gas in it. I rent a lot of vehicles and this was by far my worst experience at a national.

Alex was awesome!I left my phone in one of their cars and when I called to see if it was still there Alex found the phone as well as my I-Pass and held them for someone to pick up to return them to me.The rental experience from this location was extraordinary. I was very pleased with this experience, well better than the airport locations I generally use.

Incredible service. Alex and his team were very attentive and empathetic. I also got the cleanest car ever in Chicago. Probably the only non smoker rental left in all of the Chicagoland area. Even though they aren’t the closest location to my home, I will rent from here again.

I would 1st like to give much respect to ALEX MARKOVICH, branch manager for the way he helped me in a situation that was handled but not quit til he took things in his hands. My sister was down to last result and ALEX made things happen. May 2022, now I am sending shots out to the whole staff at (National Prise) in Napeville, illinois Ogden Ave they are all respectful and quick on the ins and outs, I don't rent from any other company but here even though I have to drive a ways it is worth it. Keep up the great work team

This is usually my go to place and I'm not necessarily giving up on them, yet but I have to share. I've had a reservation for spring break and found out four days before pick up that they do not offer after hour drop off and that I would be charged two extra days because they are closed. This may have left a bad taste in my mouth because of the run around I had trying to get info. After waiting for a long time someone picked up the line. Half way through my explanation of my situation I was interrupted by the office worker and told to hold and he left me on hold for another long wait. The phone was picked up by someone else who validated that I would have to pay another $110 because there was no after hour drop off. Reservation canceled. No thanks. And cutting me off... not professional. . I will put feedback on this experience with my company.

Worst customer service, unprofessional staff!I would love to give negative ratings for this location.The national website showed that the vehicles are available but when I reserve the vehicle, I got a call from this location that no vehicles were available and cancelled my reservation.I did the reservation for next day and the same happened.The website showed the SUV’s weren’t available but the sedans were available.Curby, as a manager, it’s your responsibility that the website should reflect the right inventory. Guess you should do a better job in reaching out to your tech support to update the same!It’s a shame for national for not giving its customers a proper service.Very disappointed with your services, Mr. Curby (Manager)!

I am Emerald member and like getting rentals from National...staff at this location is friendly but issues with phone service. When I call, it rings at the adjacent building at Enterprise...then you have to ask to be transferred but half of the time the call falls off, or you are put on indefinite hold.

This is by far and away the worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. We have booked this car weeks ago. Knowing full well that there is a shortage going on post covid and making sure that we had our car reserved so that we were ready to go. We show up- no car, no idea when there would be a car- and the attitude on the employee was out of this world. He started to tell us that because my husbands reservation was booked with points that it was harder to get him a car. He books cars regularly for work. So from being a loyal patron to your brand he doesn’t get any loyalty in return? His ‘it’s not my problem’ attitude was getting him into multiple arguments throughout the day, As more and more patrons showed up to get their cars that weren’t there. They were unapologetic and unwilling to help us navigate this change in plans. As we were waiting we saw someone get the last car in the lot and were informed that his reservation was from the day before and finally just getting fulfilled. We had our 3 month old baby with us so we were unable to wait the ‘what May be a day or so’ wait time and we left. We will be no longer using national and never visiting this location ever again.

Customer service is not above and beyond, was originally told cars were unavailable when trying to exchange a rental with a flat tire. After complaining a little more another vehicle was magically availing.
