Amazing customer service. I walked in to check out the facility and Sally answered all of our questions. She walked us through the property and showed us multiple units. She was very patient and friendly. When we were ready to rent the unit, the e-rental portal was easy to use. We were able to reserve a unit and move in the same day.The facility is well kept.

Insane 35% rent increase after just a year of being there! Rent in any place in the world, including the most expensive cities does not increase by a whopping 35%! I have always had autopay and paid my bills on time and never had any issues. I feel like the online advertising of the monthly rates are unfairly taking advantage of customers if the rate is increasing such a massive amount. I have spoken to support but all I have received are boiler plate emails that the rent decrease requests were not approved. The advertised prices currently on the website for the same unit I have are way less than this increased price I am now paying. I think my only option may be to look at competitors because this increase is unsustainable.Account # 56700296 - Please contact me if there is any possible solution.

I had hesitations about getting a storage unut, mostly due to listening to other people’s horrible stories. However, I went to this location got a great rate, it was clean and well lit. Also Dee, the manager was EXCELLENT at explaining everything to me. I am so relieved to have found this place and Dee, she made the experience soooo much better. She knows her stuff and her personally is upbeat, I appreciated that. If this location is best for you, please go for it. I thank Dee for her great work!

When I think of God's very best, Sally from Public Storage (Naperville) comes to mind. Sally is a very human-centered professional with unmatched customer service excellence. She's very consistent & caring, polite & professional, and her positive energy is infectious! A little over a year ago we decided to sell our existing home and place a good deal of our belongings into the 2323 West Diehl ed Naperville faclity. It was brand new and we thought this is the best place to be. Indoor! Climate controlled conditions! - Sadly, we were wrong. We were constant visitors to check on our things or to put something or take something out. I felt that the building was always a little damp with very little if any air flow. Prime conditions for mildew and mold. And yes in August of 2022 we experienced exactly that - mildew and mold. Upon addressing this with the manager we were told we weren't the only ones with the issue and they were checking on the HVAC. I spoke to the manager on several occasions and was told that she would inform her manager and he would get back to me. You know how that story went... No communciation for weeks and finally one voice mail and after calling back several times - the sound of crickets was all that was heard. Summer 2022 turned into winter and then into spring of 2023. I addressed the airflow and dampness issue with the new manager who indicated that the HVAC people has serviced things and all was good. Little did they know that I had placed a small piece of plastic on one of the vents that with even the slightest air movement it would have fallen out. It never move and as of yesterday was still in place laying limp like a soggy noodle. A hard breath aimed toward the plastic would make it move. But never was there any movement. Fast forward to earlier this month (August 2023) when temperatures soared and humidity was high in the area... You guessed it again - more mildew and mold. Shame on me for thinking that this place would be proactive and look at weather and environmental conditions and make adjustments to avoid this type of situation. But NOPE. At the end of the day storage unit businesses make their money off doing the least and charging the most and making customer service and super low priority. Take a look at the Public Storage website. No customer service numbers and only a physical mailing address if you want to connect with someone other than the poor soul behind the desk. At the end of the day, Public Storage will continue to be a decent REIT investment exactly for the reasons they make customers like me unhappy. I never share my thougths online but this time I thought those that might be on the fence about storage have one more perspective to weigh their decision. I could go on but my time is better spent elsewhere. Good Luck and Buyer Beware as the old saying goes. One last note - I clicked schedule a check out date on their app but didn't proceed and an interesting things happened. Public Storage AI noticed my click and then saw the nubmer of in an outs I made yesterday removing my belongings and generated and email to me saying congratulations they weren't going to raise my rent AND were going to knock of $69 a month for the nex three months based upon a request I didn't make to have my account reviewed. Amazing how walking away is what it take to make people and in this case and artifical person take notice. Never Ever again
