I had nothing but problems with this company. Read the other reviews... for me, it was just at first, their technology. Cannot get the "add to cart" button to work. We tried everything. Finally got a rep on the phone who said we can't use Apple products to order from them. Huh? Apple products have some "bug", so he says, that won't allows access to their ordering site. Secondly, if you wish to order personalized books for any children that are other than white Caucasian, I certainly couldn't find a way to do it. This concept of affordable ways to personalize books is great, but if this company's going to make it, they need to get their act together...

I have a large family with some Unique names. While shopping in Target, I found a personalized "Night Before Christmas" with one of my grandchildren's names. It said you could order different names by going to putmeinthestory.com. I thought it would be a really nice idea to give all the younger grandkids their own personalized books. I have been trying since Black Friday to order 15 personalized books. The website keeps locking me out before I can pay for the personalized books saying "REQUEST LIMIT EXCEEDED". When that happens, I can't get back on the website, for a couple of days and I lose everything that is personalized in my cart. I tried calling customer service to see if maybe they could place the order for me, since I'd like it to be here before Christmas and was told that once the website will let me on again, I can create an account, so that way if it locks me out again, it will at least save my books, so I don't have to customize them again. I said great but I've already spent 4 1/2 hours over 3 days trying to do this, since last week and I need these books before Christmas. They were unwilling to help me place an order but did tell me I could pay for expedited shipping! Gee thanks! According to your website I should have gotten FREE shipping! The idea of watching my grandkids eyes light up over a personalized book, sounded great. The BS that I have had to put up with to order it, just frankly isn't worth it. I'll buy them something else. Bought a book for my newborn 3 years ago as keepsake. Tried to buy the exact same book for my second kid. Same cost but half the size. So expensive for a little book. You're already charging so much, why send a pocket sized book?

The books are so cute! My niece loves Sesame Street and putting her name into the story and seeing her picture has gotten her so much more interested in reading and books. It is a little expensive for what it is but I think it's fine. I had a problem with shipping that was USPS's fault and they quickly resent the books. Would recommend for their customer service.

Ordered a gift package from their advertisement just to find out the next day that the actual book I ordered was $10 less than what was advertised in that package deal! I didn't need the teddy bear but loved the book so I had ordered it the day before not knowing. I called to see if I could make a change in the order (less than 24 hours) and the lady was so rude telliing me they can't do anything and that I should have done this, should have clicked this.. but there were no options given when I ordered it! She was NOT helpful and said I would not get a refund and can not make any changes. I pray this book better be right!! Worst customer service and very deceiving advertisement. Stay away!! I'll never ordering from these people again nor will recommend to anyone!! There's plenty of other options out there! I should have known better!!

let me first say that I have never written a bad review, until now. I normally subscribe to if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it but I think like the other folks that have expressed their frustration, let this be a warning of the contentious customer service you will encounter if you need to deal with them. if I were you, I would spend a little more (like my wife did for her personalized book to me) with a company like hooray heroes.com and get what you pay for, both in quality of the product and service.

Right now I wouldn’t recommend because I received the wrong order and can’t get ahold of anyone at customer service to resolve the issue. My kids have received personalized books in the past that they love and I thought it was really special. I decided to make two books for some new family members but the order that was sent to me was wrong.

Seven days after placing an order for 3 books I called to find why the books had not been shipped. These are Christmas presents! (According to website will be mailed within 4 days-I had paid for expedited shipping as well) I was told they could not find my order and someone would call me back. No one called but I received shipping notice the following afternoon. So disappointed in the quality. They looked like they had been thrown together fast. Insides of front and back covers were wrinkled, glue was oozing out and the bindings were not set straight. After several days of trying to reach customer service, I opened a "case" with PayPal. Within minutes I received a phone call from customer service. They had gotten the PayPal notice. They promised they would give me a full refund if and only if I closed the PayPal case FIRST. That would of course negate any leverage I had because when you close the PayPal case it can never be reopened. So you have no recourse when they don't issue the promised refund. Very sneaky! PayPal immediately decided the case in my favor and issued a full refund. So moral of this story is if you are going to buy from this vendor, make sure you pay with PayPal!

Horrible experience - my online order was not dealt with for a full week after I placed the order; when I called to check status it was clear it hadn't been begun but the rep assured me it would be expedited so that I a new and first time grandma would have the book for my granddaughter for Christmas. I thought that meant they would ship it priority or 2nd-day or in some way expedite the shipping but they did not - it was sent 'the cheapest route' (per the USPS) - book rate so now it will NOT arrive in time for me to bring it to her for Christmas. The company has already charged my credit card though Do not deal with this company! Extremely disappointing
