“As parents searching for childcare after a difficult first experience, my husband and I were simply hoping to find a place where our son would be safe, genuinely cared for, and loved when we couldn’t be with him. We found all of that, and so much more, at Active.

We’ve now been part of this daycare for about two and a half years, with three children (including a toddler and twin infants) enrolled and experience across five different classrooms. Without hesitation, I can say we have truly adored every team of incredible teachers who have cared for our kids. They don’t just look after them—they care for them as if they were their own, know them so well, and celebrate them for the unique little people they are. Because of this, our children have developed a true love of learning and a natural curiosity that has been amazing to watch as parents.

Each week brings a new theme filled with creative, hands-on activities that thoughtfully accommodate different learning styles. The teachers foster an engaging and nurturing environment where kids are encouraged to explore, grow, and thrive. Communication has always been excellent, and I’ve consistently felt like a true partner with the teachers, all of whom clearly want what’s best for our children and our family.

One of the other things that truly sets Active apart is its leadership. The director, Ms. Katie, and assistant director, Ms. Melissa, are both incredibly hands-on and know the children very well. They are present in the classrooms, approachable with families, and clearly invested in creating a nurturing, supportive environment for both kids and parents.

As a naturally more anxious parent with pretty high expectations, it means everything to have found a place we trust completely. I would wholeheartedly recommend Active to any family looking for a safe, loving, and enriching childcare environment.”

We chose TLE Naper-Plainfield and have been extremely pleased with our decision. Not only is our daughter learning and demonstrating skills beyond expectations for her age, the staff has become like family and she truly enjoys going to school every day. The team goes the extra mile to ensure a safe and fun environment for the children on a daily basis. They also host many delightful family activities throughout the year. “Highly recommend!!! I can’t say enough good things about Kensington School of South Naperville! The teachers are amazing. They create such a welcoming and fun environment for the kiddos. All of my son’s teachers have been so kind and gentle. You can tell that they truly care about the kids. They send lots of pictures throughout the day and always have stories to tell me when I pick him up. I feel that the teachers take care of all the kids as if they were their own. There has been little to zero turnover, which says so much about the culture that the director has created at the school. We feel so confident in the care that is provided!”

They took the time to understand my child's sensory and emotional sensitivities, creating a supportive environment where he feels safe and understood. And, their willingness to collaborate with us on strategies to help him stay regulated has made a world a difference.

For my other child, the teachers provide a nurturing and engaging atmosphere where she could explore, learn, and build friendships. The curriculum is well-rounded, balancing structured activities with plenty of time for creative play and social interaction.”

They have many ways to engage the kids and parents through different events and activities including group music class. I am a big fan of the program they have built here, my only frustration is the parking setup.”

“My daughter has attended Bright Horizons Ecolab for 3 years. She absolutely loves going to school each day. Her teachers have all been warm and supportive. They make my child feel safe and well-loved while she is there! Each classroom has been a unique experience, but they have all been perfectly matched to her developmental milestones. She has grown so much academically, but also socially. They work on academics, managing emotions, and on life-skills.
The directors are supportive and always available to answer questions. They know each child personally and are involved in the classrooms on a regular basis. The other attending families are so kind and welcoming. Bright Horizons has become a second home for us.
Choosing this school was the best decision for my family. My daughter is happy, well cared for, and growing leaps and bounds in her education.”

“Cadence Academy is an amazing preschool. They take great care of our son, so good he never wants to leave. Ms. Katie is the absolute best, she’s kind, nurturing, and I just get good vibes from her. She always lets me know how his day went. I also love how I get not only a daily synopsis, the photos of him throughout the day brings me so much comfort. He is always happy or focused on his daily projects. He has learned so much in such a short period of time. I love how he’s challenged to think and use his imagination. I give Cadence Academy in Naperville a 10 out of 10”

“I'd recommend Kindercare to any parent. Admin (Cassie and Dana) are very responsive to communications and attentive. Our now toddler has been with KinderCare since she was in the infant room and shes been doing great. She loves her teachers and I see how excited she is to go to daycare. Teachers are consistent, caring, and nurturing. They listen to my concerns and I especially appreciated their efforts in working as closely to the schedule I wanted my daughter to be in at home.

I feel good dropping off my daughter knowing that she is in good hands when I'm at work or doing errands.”

“Words cannot describe how thankful I am for Goddard. This was my first experience with daycare and I was so nervous. Steph and Melissa went above and beyond To give my baby one-on-one attention as she was adjusting to the classroom lifestyle. We were blessed with an amazing teacher, Miss Shannon. She called me every day to give me a wellness update on how my daughter was doing. Now, when I drop her off, she literally runs to Miss Shannon and hugs her leg and never looks back at me, Which makes me happy that she found a second home with Goddard. They have cute little events, like spirit weeks and book fairs. They also are big on gym time and going outside which we love. Healthy meals are served everyday and all is documented in the app. Another plus is they have great communication through the app and always post pictures. I’m really thankful that we trusted our gut with this team. They have been nothing but amazing to us. If you were looking for a daycare, I highly recommend Goddard. “Through Knox Presbyterian church and a local Catholic Church whose name I do not know in Naperville Illinois they came on a mission trip to Cedar Rapids Iowa to do many good works in the community. One of these touched my heart tremendously because they worked with Central Furniture rescue and Furniture I could not afford in my new apartment they set me up with an entire apartment full of furniture and cookware. You all are truly a blessing.”

“The river road kindercare has been apart of my family for over 12 years. This is the only daycare I feel safe to leave my kids, this is the only daycare my kids ever attended. The main thing I love about this center is the communication, they are always on top of anything I need to know. Ms Triana, Ms Emily & Ms Linda always give me updates on my daughter, from if she had a good nap to her using the potty all day and always give me tips on how to continue with the potty schedule at home. They are the reason she has transitioned to pull-ups… I can’t forget to mention Ms Lindsey or Mr Kris for always taking care of anything I need pertaining to my account, they also never let any questions I have be put off. I do not mind driving 25 minutes extra everyday, it’s so worth it to me and my sanity!”

“My daughter has been at Peter Pan North for the last 1.5 yrs. We could not be happier with her experience and the school. The director is very responsive and the teachers are kind. She is learning so much from the curriculum which includes a nature focus. The outdoor space is AMAZING and they have a lot of resources/supplies for the kids. They keep the kids busy but the vibes are calm which we really like about it. We are so happy with our experience and will be sending our 2nd daughter there too.”

“Primrose has truly been a second home for my boys. I toured multiple schools before choosing one where I felt confident my children would truly thrive, and Primrose stood out immediately with its exceptional curriculum, including Spanish enrichment.

The teachers are well prepared with engaging lesson plans, and the kids don’t even realize they’re learning because everything is so fun and interactive. I especially love how nature is incorporated into the curriculum. The children grow food and learn about life cycles, which creates such meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. Primrose is also the only daycare we found that uses the Renaissance STAR Literacy Assessment.

The teachers are highly qualified, educated, and genuinely dedicated, with very little turnover. The teachers, front desk staff, and director are always approachable and kind. One of my sons graduated from Primrose in 2025 and was more than prepared for kindergarten. My younger son will be graduating this year and continues to thrive.

The consistency and care provided truly set Primrose apart, and we are so grateful to be part of this amazing community.”

Our youngest has been here since he was 5 months old (now 2.5 years), and every morning he is greeted with open arms, setting a loving tone for his day. He has built such strong bonds with his teachers—Ms. Mel, Ms. Ali, and Ms. Diana are his favorites—and it’s clear how much they care. We are constantly impressed by all he is learning.
The communication from the teachers is thoughtful and consistent, keeping us well-informed about his progress and daily activities. Jen and Denis are always responsive and supportive, making this experience very reassuring for us.”

We recently transitioned to the Kensington South location simply because it’s closer to our home, but we are so grateful for the year we had at Kensington Naperville and would highly recommend it to any family looking for high-quality childcare and education!”

“We attended an event here and our family had a wonderful time! The center was decorated cute, looked clean, and felt well organized. The assortment of toys and activities were appropriate for their ages- my littles were engaged the whole time! Kind and authentic staff. They were quick to help families with questions and it didn’t feel like anyone was putting up a fake “customer service” act, they were genuinely happy to help and be there.
