The Kitchen Master just completed remodeling our kitchen, and we are absolutely thrilled with the design, quality, and just how darn smooth they made the process. Tracy Berman was our designer, and she created a thoughtful design that was really tailored for how we want (and need) to use the kitchen. Tracy’s design is so great – functional, timeless, but with some pizzazz and fun design elements that make it unique and OURS. Having Tracy provide suggestions and options to choose from as starting points made the process so much easier than going to the store and picking out everything from scratch. Tracy totally understood our style, stuck to our budget, and we never felt pressured into anything.
On the build side, The Kitchen Master does everything and makes sure that their subcontractors tour the house before the design is finalized to make sure the pricing is accurate and any potential issues or surprises are discussed up front. Tom Myers ran the show and he was very patient with all of our questions and always made me feel like he had our back when there were any hiccups along the way. Michael Peshia was the guy that was there almost every day ripping things apart and putting things back together again. Michael did amazing work, taking great care and patience with our wonky ceilings, and has amazing attention to detail. It was great to have a single point of contact throughout the demo through the final build.
You hear so many horror stories about people’s remodeling experience and I can say we had none of that thanks to Kitchen Master. Even with some hiccups along the way, everything was done on time, on budget, and with no real stress on us as the owners. If we ever need any additional work done on our house, we will definitely use The Kitchen Master again!

I have used Kitchen Master twice, for a complete bathroom and kitchen remodel including new electric. Their work is reliable and excellent quality.
Over the 54 years I’ve lived in this house, I’ve seen numerous contractors and only two just did what they promised and caused no grief. One was Kitchen Master’s. They respect you and your property.

From our very first meeting with Tracy, our designer, to our last day with Tom, our project manager, we had an excellent experience with The Kitchen Master and would highly recommend them.
Tracy pulled together design layout, materials, specific patterns/colors to create exactly what we were looking for. A budget was presented and she worked with us, understanding our need to stick to it with no “surprises.” The showroom had plenty of samples to consider as well as a computerized representation of our final design. Needless improvements and unnecessary upgrades never came up.
Tom assembled a top-notch skilled team of artisans who love their craft; Anthony, Damon, Oscar, Mike, Jose, Audel, electricians and plumbers and many others. They were considerate of our home and respected the fact that we had to live there during the project. We were pleased with the way they cleaned up daily.
The Kitchen Master’s use of the Buildertrend app afforded us a daily calendar of the work to be done and who would be at our home as well as a summary and photos of work completed on any specific day. Communication with Tom and Tracy was excellent, having our questions and concerns dealt with promptly through email and phone. Explanations of process and inspections was thorough.
This is the 5th home we’ve owned and the investment was worth it because we went with the A Team -- The Kitchen Master!

We bought an older home last year with a kitchen straight out of the 60s. We hired The Kitchen Master to fully remodel our kitchen, tearing down a wall, replacing the floor, and installing all new applieances. Our first meeting was in November, the project kicked off in February and completed in April.
The entire process was fairly well communicated, and any time we had questions the team was extremely responsive. The project timeline was thought-out and planned well, and we only experienced some very minor hiccups (like missing one piece of trim that came a week or two later). The workers were all prompt, respectful, and did quality work.
We are thrilled with the end result. Our kitchen is beautiful and so much more functional. If you are looking to hire someone to help plan your entire remodeling project, I completely recommend The Kitchen Master.

I felt compelled to leave a honest review after 18 months of our kitchen remodel….
The good. Stacy and Tom are great with organization, communication and design. They provide high end finishes, think through the little things during the design phase and really launch a great plan. The workers that ARE EMPLOYED by the Kitchen Master are great, respectful, on time and work as cleanly as possible every day. They did a great job in letting us know who will be at our home everyday.
The not so good. We had issues with the electricians professionalism and how they conducted themselves at our home. Which I could totally tolerate if they did good work. In the subsequent 18 months since our remodel can lights have fallen out of our ceiling, and the new “panel” I was to receive at a great expense for my kitchen project trips daily when running our Keurig. Now the sink piping is leaking as well. This is forcing me to have to repay for “infrastructure” work that I already paid for as part of my remodel. Again they sub contract this work and I should’ve known better.
If I had to do it again I would have taken more ownership in finding plumbing and electrical vendors separately that I felt comfortable with and used Kitchen Master just for the finishes and design as now I am forced to repay for electrical and plumbing work 18 months after our remodel was finished.

Tom, Sarah, Ted, and the whole team at The Kitchen Master were great to work with. From a design perspective, they were able to bring the idea in that was in our head onto paper and developed great drawings and renderings to help us visualize it. We were given extensive options and price points on the countertops and cabinet lines for our new kitchen island. Once construction started, the team at our house were the consummate professionals, ensuring that they kept the rest of the house as clean as it could be during demolition and remodeling job. They stayed on schedule perfectly the entire time and even ended up finishing ahead of schedule for us. The end product looks incredible, and we are very happy with it. Through the entire process, The Kitchen Master was professional, communicative, easy to work with, and kind. The highest praise I can offer is that we will certainly be hiring them again for future remodeling jobs and hold them in high regard.

We are about halfway through our major kitchen remodeling process with KitchenMasters. At this point, we could not be more pleased with the process, from design to proposals to the remodeling phase. The use of BuilderTrend application where upon you can see full schedule, receive updates and pictures, is a tremendous service tool. Additionally, the cleanliness of the worksite after each day is a very pleasant surprise. The job is not yet done, but to date, the work, the professionalism, the communication, has far exceeded expectations.

We used the Kitchen Master to remodel our Kitchen 30+ years ago. New cabinets, counter tops, flooring, lighting, and walls. It has stood the wear of time and we never had a problem with any of their work.
So when it was time to redo the Master bathroom we hired them once again.
The Master bathroom was totally gutted and the finished product is beautiful. It was a pleasure working with our installer (Josh) and the project manager (Tom). That was seven years ago. We had a tile that appeared to be loosening a few weeks ago. I called and talked to the owner and he immediately sent Tom to see what was happening. It was a simple fix that they took care of even though we were out of warranty.
This is a company that stands behind their work. Their service is excellent and they immediately respond if you have a problem.
If you are looking for a company that does an excellent job and stands behind their work call the Kitchen Master.

We initially hired Kitchen Masters to remodel our kitchen and master bath, and their work was so exceptional that I decided to have them remodel the rest of my house as well. Stacy, the designer, was absolutely fabulous. She truly listened to our ideas and helped us bring our vision to life, creating a home that perfectly reflects who we are. Stacy‘s designs are beautiful. I never knew I could be so in love with my home.
The entire process was made incredibly easy, thanks to their friendly and professional team. Every member of the team, from the tradespeople to Tom the project manager, took their time and worked meticulously to ensure everything was perfect. Their attention to detail was unparalleled, and they made sure that every aspect of the remodel was built to last. The quality of the work speaks for itself.
The team was very respectful of our house and our time. They were great at communicating what was happening when. Every day they made sure to clean up before they left.
We couldn't be happier with the results. Not only is our home beautiful, but the project was completed on time and within budget. I wholeheartedly recommend Kitchen Masters.

We had an outstanding experience working with Ted at The Kitchen Master! From start to finish, Ted and his team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail. They truly listened to our vision and brought it to life with custom cabinets that exceeded our expectations.

We were very pleased with all aspects of our kitchen remodel. Everyone at Kitchen Master was responsive and a pleasure to work with. Kathy, our designer, did an excellent job of guiding us through our choices. The craftsmen who completed the work were highly skilled and professional. They were very careful to protect our house and minimize disruption all throughout the project. Our recent bath remodel with Kitchen Master was superb. This is the second bath remodel they have done for us. KM has developed a process that addressed all of our project details upfront: excellent communications, preliminary layouts, detailed design drawings, and a wide selection of options. The implementation of those details was completed on schedule by skilled craftsmen and project supervision. We couldn't be more pleased!

We just completed our 4th project with Kitchen Master, so obviously we love their work! This time it was a "down to the studs" kitchen and bath remodel in our historic home. Everyone who worked on the project was professional and added to the quality of the experience. Our kitchen is beautiful and was finished on time according to the time frame we were given from the start. Exceptional work all around!

Kitchen Master is the hidden gem of the western suburbs. I’ve never seen an advertisement for them and only learned about them through recommendations from friends. We had an awesome experience from start to finish. We hired them to update our kitchen, powder room, office, laundry area and install new floors and update the staircase. Joseph, our designer, spoke to us in length about what we wanted and problems we wanted to solve. He came up with fantastic ideas to enhance each of those spaces. The project manager was extremely efficient and the project started and ended on time. All the tradesmen who worked in the house were polite and did exceptional work. When they left at the end of each day things were left clean and tidy. The first floor of our home is gorgeous and everyone who visits is blown away by the transformation. Kitchen Master uses high quality materials and the workmanship is exceptional.
