The venue was ok, it remained me of a conference room. The band was amazing. They also have a very limited menu and the drinks were not good. Service was limited, I think they need more staff to accommodate the crowd.

I've attended three events at this venue and my experience was the same each time. The ambiance was nice, the venue is beautiful and clean, the staff was nice but the food and the service ???? The menu houses items that sound quite delightful however, the taste and quality just don't match. The bar staff is extremely slow and the drinks were a miss each time. I ordered a French 75 and what I received tasted like cranberry juice with seltzer water. My husband ordered an old fashioned and received bourbon with a glass of full of ice cubes and no bitters. The bar staff was not prepared to handle the crowd and definitely not trained mixologists. This place has the makings of a great venue, but food and drinks is what keep patrons coming and this rate, it's a no for me.

The Club is very well planned out, beautifully decorated. Its fairly new, well maintained. The owners do not have ample business management skills. Restaurant service is poor and very slow, which is most annoying part. There are enough service staff standing around however no one has any idea who needs to do what? That is one major disappointment. Food is good. Their website could be updated in a timely manner, showing upcoming events, you cannot tell what are the upcoming events.

It was just alright. All the way through, it was just alright. Duck pot stickers were dry and flavorless if not for the sauce to save the day it would have been a loss. The decor was just alright, felt like a conference room of sorts. Accent walls and carpet mismatched which gave it just a weird not so upscale feeling. Waiter was just never there and took forever to take our order. Everything just kind of fell short for me. The band was nice but way too loud. Those are my critiques so do with them what you will.

Our server, Anna, was delightful, and very attentive. Although the food was tasty, the portions were minuscule. My date ordered the chicken and we were both surprised at the size of the portion. It was smaller than a meal you would get at McDonald's and it was $35. Don't think I would return for the food but definitely for the music venue.. that was fun, although they need more dance space.

It is the "Best" entertainment venue I've visited in years. The band was great, performers voice clear and audable.

Beautiful place on the inside.But:1) Very Overpriced wine for $16 & the barely put any wine in the glass. (I am sure they have had many complaints)2) Really really bad food menu & overpriced.Even the appetizer options weren't many options. Please revise your menu.3) Dance floor too small, if this is a place for music. Why would you Make a small dance floor? Really4) We barely saw our server, maybe 2xs the whole night.5) Seating by the stage is too close, I was back to back with the other tables.

The Matrix Room in Naperville is a blend of local art, talent, entertainment and flavor from around the world. Sit down with a Blueberry Ginger Bourbon Sour, dance the night away, and be entertained. All whilst dining on the unique dishes created by Chef Alonzo. Go for the entertainment. Stay for the cuisine. Bon Appetite!

This was a very nice venue. It’s located across from the Fox Valley Mall. They have a huge parking lot. We came here for NYE. It was easy to get our tickets scanned. They had a couple areas to do photos. Inside of the main hall for the event, they had multiple food stations like salad, two desserts, Asian, Indian, charcuterie including cold shrimp and oysters, made to order pasta, and coffee/tea. They had an abundance of tables to sit at, so it was nice to sit with people you don’t know. They also had a couple of cover bands with a dance floor. Food was pretty decent, not fancy food but it was decent. Asian food was okay. Indian food was good. Charcuterie had a good selection. Made to order pasta was delicious. Dessert table presentation was messy because other people kind of butchered it. They do give you complimentary champagne for the countdown. I would say it was good for $65. I’m not sure about the $150 for VIP. On a side note, I wished they reinforced like a dress code. There were some people that dressed like they just got out of bed. They had like a best dressed couple drawing, which shouldn’t be too difficult since a lot of guys wore just a t shirt and jeans.

The food was excellent and the menu is diverse. We tried the branzino, ribeye, samosas, and duck potstickers, and loved them all. We enjoyed a concert during dinner and the view and sound were great from every table. The layout and the decor are beautiful. The wait staff seems to still be in training mode, but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal for us.

Terrific music, excellent food and drinks, nice ambience, but really poor service. Our waiter didn't seem to know how to operate his hand-held ordering device and had an inadequate grasp of English for a customer-facing job - it took forever just to place a cocktail order. Then, after we said we were ready to order food and he smiled and said OK, 10 minutes passed before he returned. Then, our soup appetizer arrived at the same time as our main course, meaning the main course was cold by the time we finished the soup.

The food is absolutely amazing. Chef Alonzo is very talented. I would chose his restaurant over Ramsay’s in Naperville any day if the week. The music live music is a lot of fun.

Excellent nightclub. It was like a bit of Las Vegas right in the Chicagoland suburbs. We saw a great blues-rock band called Brookwood Drive there last night. Not too big, not too small… tall ceilings, so you don’t feel crowded. They have excellent food, a good selection of spirits (including some outstanding single malts), a good craft beer selection, plus wine & mixed drink lists. The front half has tables for formal dining (china, stemware, candles), wheras the back half has sofas & groups of comfy chairs around coffee tables. The bar spans the entire back of the room. The friendly staff are attentive. Everything about this place is classy.Other reviews talk about standing room cincerts, so maybe they configure the room differently for different events, but the layout I describe above is how it was for Brookwood Drive.I see from their website that they host conventions, wedding receptions, have many bands scheduled, & an upcoming New Years Eve Celebration. The complex also contains a yoga studio, performing arts center, but I didn’t visit those, so can’t comment on them.I highly recommend The Matrix Club.
