The worst walgreens ever. Employees are so rude and pathetic.

They answer the phone and put you on hold for 10 minutes… and still never answered.

Place is a completely gross zoo. Need to talk to a pharmacist? Have an urgent question. You will have to wait on hold for at least an hour. ZOO.

I am very irritated with this walgreens... And usually I do not rate places negatively but this keeps happening here at this location. Every time I call for a question regarding my prescription they never answer or they pick up immediately put me back on hold and I sit there and sit there then they pick up again I sit again and eventually get hung up on. This has happened and luckily some of the more important times I was able to get a ride and go up there and talk with them but other times I cannot. Very frustrating. There is the one gentleman Pharmacy employee that busts his butt he runs back and forth and he is prompt and I feel really bad for him because he is the only one working hard in that Pharmacy thankful for him but he shouldn't be the only one working and you wouldn't have to work that hard if everyone else was doing their job

I had a horrible experience with this pharmacy and wish I could rate them as zero stars. I submitted a refill request online for a prescription that showed 2 refills left. Walgreens sent me an email stating it would be ready the next day at 3 PM. I called the pharmacy at least 5 times after 3 PM to confirm it was ready and waited on hold for 15-45 minutes for someone to pick up the phone. Someone finally answered the last time I called. The lady I spoke with told me they were backed up and stated the prescription would be ready at 7:30 PM. I asked her if they had the medication in stock and if they had everything needed to fill the prescription. She stated yes and told me they would pull my insurance information from my profile since it was my first time getting a prescription at that location.
The next day, I drove to pick up the prescription only to be told they didn’t have a prescription in the system for me. The person at the window told me they could get it ready, but it would take about one and a half hours. I pulled out my phone to show the prescription order from the website and explained how I had just spoken with someone yesterday at that location. The young lady went to get the pharmacist. He looked in the system and told me I didn’t have any refills and stated they needed to call my doctor to request a new one. I told him the system showed I had two refills left and then told him that I had just spoken with someone yesterday at that location. He disregarded what I said and shrugged his shoulders while stating that maybe I talked to someone at the call center. This is where things got heated as I explained, I did not talk to anyone at a call center. I spoke with someone at the pharmacy. Then I asked, why they hadn’t contacted me or taken the initiative to request a new prescription from my doctor. The pharmacist stated they didn’t know who the doctor was! I asked him what name was on the prescription. He provided the doctor’s name and stated to me that I could have changed doctors. It was unbelievable to hear excuses and lack of accountability coming from the pharmacist. I would have rather received a sincere apology along with an attempt to expedite my prescription! That didn’t happen.
Long story short, I left without receiving the medication, but I did learn a valuable lesson and would never attempt to use this pharmacy location again. I should have checked the reviews prior to requesting a pickup from Walgreens on Raymond Road in Naperville. I'm not sure if this location is understaffed, unorganized or what the issue is, but the whole experience was very frustrating.

Horrible service and worst possible communications. I was told to come back after 1 hour to pick up my prescription. Gave them plenty time (2 hrs) and still they made me wait in the store for 30 minutes. They didn’t show any concern or made apologies.

TLDR: Take your prescription needs literally anywhere else.
This pharmacy has become completely useless. The staff is unable or unwilling to assist with issues in the consistent filling of prescriptions. Certain prescriptions seem to get set to be filled through an off site facility and delivered to the store. Regardless of other prescriptions on the same refill order being filled on site, AND the exact same medication being filled elsewhere being in stock and available to fill immediately on site as well. This leads to delays and missed doses which are medically detrimental to patient health. We have inquired with multiple staff, in person and on the phone, over the course of months as to why and how to remedy the issue. The level of response from all manner of staff is best summed up by the response I received from Pharmacist Bill this evening, which amounted to essentially a shrug and ‘dunno, can’t help you’. The drastic decline in service over the past year is blatant and I am floored that it is acceptable at any level. I firmly believe that medical staff are often over worked and hamstrung by corporate policy, and that may well be the case here as well. But regardless of the reason, we will be transferring all of our prescriptions elsewhere and never giving Walgreens any business again. This location and Walgreens Pharmacy as a whole should be shamed for the abysmal service for something so critical to people’s health.

Most incompetent pharmacy staff, especially the pharmacist unfortunately I couldn't get his name to post it in this review, first it all he yelled at me across the room, he didn't care if other costumers were around, he didn't take the time to call me and talk to me on the side, so everyone had to listen to my business, then he starts telling me that they bill the Insurance for 90 days supply, my prescription was sent for a 90 day supply and I only received 60 days so when question him about what happen to my last box of medication? he tells me that if I don't like their service I should find another pharmacy ( again yelling in front everyone). I left the pharmacy l was very upset still missing my medication. Please don't use this pharmacy

Lines are terrible, except for when one particular guy is working. There's constantly issues with insurance (that I no longer have with another pharmacy), they'll sometimes tell you they have something in stock only for the prescription to be delayed and you have to call to figure out what's going on. I get it's not their fault. I'm sure they're underpaid and understaffed. Just get your stuff together Walgreens.

Please listen to the reviews. Unfortunately, my husband went here without reading them and our experience was just as bad as everyone described. Today, 9/30/2024 at around 11am I arrived at the Walgreens at 612 Raymond Drive in Naperville, IL to fill a prescription for my sick dog. This has been the worst experience I have ever had at any walgreens Pharmacy. I have been utilizing Walgreens as my main pharmacy for over 20 years and the incompetence and complete disregard for customers at this pharmacy is something I have just never seen. When I arrived, I was told the medication would take 30 minutes. I arrived back at the location about 45 minutes later and was told it wasn’t ready “Oh, it was for the dog right?” I responded “Yes, Correct” I was then told it would take another 30 minutes. Once I pulled off from the drive thru I received a call from the pharmacy stating that it would be more than 30 minutes because they had to contact my dog’s vet for authorization. I told them that was fine and they told me they would give me a call when it was ready. I have been waiting almost 5 hours at this point without a call so I decided that I would call them. When I finally got through I was told that they actually had to order the medication although my dog had already missed her dose of medication that was supposed to take place at 12 PM. They said that they actually did not have the medication in stock which was not ever told to me until I called back at the five hour mark. My issue is not that they have did not have the medication in stock, but that they were not transparent in the fact that they could not supply it for me today. I could have went to a different location or a different pharmacy altogether and they did not give me that option. Only saying “Oh, it will be ready tomorrow.” My dog ABSOLUTELY CANNOT miss two doses of medication (which are supposed to take place 12 hours apart) because she is suffering from Meningitis and on a very strict schedule. I am just so disappointed in this experience, the carelessness and lack of sympathy for a subject so sensitive like my loving pet who is suffering, I could never forgive.

Most incompetent pharmacy staff - had an appointment at 2pm for a flu shot and had to wait 30 minutes for the pharmacist to actually give it to me. They’re slow and rude here - avoid at all costs.

The prices on the Walgreens app are slightly different from in store. I kindly requested a price adjustment for pedialyte. The same one online is 8 dollars in store, that’s pretty pricey. I asked for the online price of 7$. And the manager declined so i went to buy it elsewhere. When customers ask for a price adjustment for 1$ for a product for sick kids, just give it. Ive been in retail for years and this is an exception. Its 1$…
And The app will only allow you get online pickup for that price BUT you have to spend a 10$ at least. I dont see myself buying from Walgreens anymore.

An appointment means nothing to these folks. Get vaccines here if you have no place to go and don’t mind waiting 30-40 minutes even with an appointment.
