It's my neighbors Walmart. Friendly staff and it's organized well. Plenty of cashiers if you don't want to do self check out.

In three days, they ruined the positive experience I had with this specific store. Awful service and poor communication defined my recent interactions. Here's the story: On Sunday, I placed a pickup order for the block between 3-4 pm. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend to my block for personal reasons. According to research my husband and I conducted, we could pick up the order any time before the pickup service concluded (attached evidence). Consequently, I arrived at 7:30 pm, checked in, spent 20 minutes, and nobody came. It's essential to note that my husband and I were the only car in the parking lot, and despite people moving inside, no one approached. After almost 30 minutes of waiting, we decided to call customer care. The person who answered mentioned "system issues" preventing them from fulfilling my order but assured me I had until Wednesday (today) to pick it up. Despite our urgent need for groceries, I made my husband go to the store right after dropping me off at work on Monday. To our surprise, the order got canceled immediately after my husband left me at my job. I called, and they apologized for the misinformation but explained that, since it was groceries, the order needed to be picked up on the same day. Today, in an attempt to simplify matters, I placed the order again. This time, I opted for delivery instead of pickup, scheduled for the block from 9-10 pm (the only available slot for today's delivery). When I received the notification that the order was out for delivery, I started tracking my driver. Later, when it seemed like he consistently had trouble finding my place, I called him for assistance. However, he hung up on me after confirming he wasn't the intended recipient. Frustrated, I began calling and texting Walmart, expressing my desire for the groceries to be delivered. They explained that the order was undeliverable and promised to find another driver. If unsuccessful, they would cancel the order, and I would need to place a new one. Enraged, I requested the store to call me before deciding to cancel. Unfortunately, they never contacted me, and as anticipated, they waited until the store was nearing closing time to cancel my order once again. I managed to find their direct number, called the store, but they never answered. Now, my order has been canceled again, leaving me without groceries for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Michael from self checkout was extremely helpful with issues that were occurring with the register. He's a very kind employee who was able to quickly help me and greeted me farewell.

Went to Walmart to do an exchange. The service reps were very efficient in servicing the several customers in line. My representative was able to complete my return in less than 5 minutes, with little delay. I was impressed by this, I don't think I've experienced this in a Walmart customer service line. The store was large, had a large produce section. The produce seemed to be pretty fresh, but the prices were expensive. Other grocery stores have way better prices. Would recommend this location for shelf and frozen food items. Produce is not the best.

I spend hundreds shopping online and in store. I have had a few incidents where my order never arrived or for some reason sent back to seller. Walmart deactivated my account for their incompetence . Very poor customer service!!!!!!!!

I had an awful experience at the Walmart in Aurora so I went to this location for a return. Romana in customer service was so nice and actually wanted to help me. I'm going to continue to go this Walmart now even though it's a little further from me.

I notice some shelves and freezers are empty. Things I normally could find was hard to find this go round which I ended up being 25 minutes longer than expected with very little help, so decided to get only a couple of items this go round. Hopefully a stress free experience next time.

Usually get grocery pickup and the team is well organized. Recently they have introduced app check-in which is great and easy. The employees are really nice and take care of the stuff when they load in the car

I absolutely despise this Walmart. I went to return something an item after I got off work (7pm) and there was a short line of customers at the customer service desk. I patiently waited in line only to be told that they were not going to take any more returns after the person who was in front of me. The store did not close until 11. I understand that the store might be short staffed but the two supervisors who were on call that could have stepped up to help out. I was so livid, I called my aunt who also frequents this Wal-Mart and she advised me that on her shopping trip last week, 13 out of the 20 items she purchased were a higher dollar amount than advertised in the shelves. She had to wait an extremely long time to have customer service price adjust.

This particular Walmart location has really been slipping over the past year. I would imagine the vast majority of the issues are a direct result of Walmart corporate and not the specific location. They used to have a really cool grocery list feature in the Walmart app that showed you where products were in the store, the price of the product, and it's availability. Walmart deleted that from the app and provides no alternative. Additionally, the prices are no longer markedly cheaper than anyone else. Also, they very frequently are out of products on their shelves. In my opinion, it's no longer worth it to lower myself to shop at Walmart. Best of luck to Walmart.

I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I went into this store. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon. It took 2 different sales associates to locate the item I was needing to purchase, an electric tea kettle, for work. The store only had 1 cashier available and since this was going to be a tax exempt purchase, I work for the State of Illinois, I needed to go through the cashier line. After the 7 people in front of me and 35 minutes later, I was standing in front of a cashier that told me, "You have to do tax exempt purchases at the customer service desk". The CS desk was dark. There were 3 floor "managers" and 2 employees sitting on a bench obviously on break eating their lunch, but no one available at CS to complete this transaction. I asked if one of the floor managers could do a tax exempt and the cashier's reply was "No. We are short handed". Maybe one of the managers should open up a register and at least ease up the wait time for the other people. Nope, I won't be back to this store.

Another bad experience. 5 of 6 grocery items I bought cost roughly 10% higher at checkout than the shelf label on Feb 18, 2022 in Glen Ellyn at Butterfield and Rte 53. Should be illegal. They stole money out of my pocket Why do I go here? It's on my route home and they put other convenient grocery stores out of business. I can only hope someone puts this Walmart out of business. They are just bad for a community. I try to support Costco instead.
