Harpole's Heartland Lodge is an excellent destination for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly hunters. It offers diverse upland bird and Whitetail deer hunts, with both wild and established populations available. The professional, friendly, and very helpful staff includes multiple good guides who are extremely knowledgeable and work very hard to ensure a successful experience, perfect for both novice and seasoned hunters. They provide great bird dogs for the hunt. The lodge itself is a great experience with lots of room. It features various room styles and cabins to rent, suitable for a large party, and is filled with renderings of wildlife. The food is always good, fresh, delicious, and home cooked, with meals that exceed expectations and appear to be locally farmed. There is always more to eat than one can handle. For other activities, the location offers great SxS and OHV riding with good trails for all levels. As a place to get away, note that the internet is a bit slow and cell phone signal is weak. It is highly recommended for those seeking an amazing outdoor experience.
I've been going to Heartland Lodge for 3 years now. Always a great hunt. Guides and dogs are awesome. If you have a chance to go out with Kenzie and her dogs, you won't be disappointed! Let's not forget the food, oh my, breakfast, lunch and supper are off the chart good!

If you're considering going, just do it. Beautiful grounds, even better people. The guides are top notch. Management is better than you could ask for. The hunt itself was amazing. Much appreciation to everyone at Heartland.
