I am a customer since 2019 opened up an account and made a new phone number on my account due to getting a new phone. However I have had issues ever since and even before that they have no customer service respect do not return phone calls do not know what department you should go to. They tell you to contact the local branch and then the local branch shows you to contact the fraud department or contact this department they always bound to go around. They never give you a straightforward answer. I will never recommend them. I spoke to Lucy today in the new Lenox office Very disrespectful very not understanding and then spoke to someone from the fraud department, very disrespectful in which the woman started to raise her voice and yell at me

This bank is horrible!!! Do not do business with them. My brother who is disabled has an account here and half the time they claim they don’t have the money to pay him and we have to go back another day. There is no excuse for this treatment especially for a disabled person .

This is a wonderful branch with friendly staff and a clean building. Everyone is very helpful and they work fast too. I have no plans to use any other bank

My debit card got stuck in the drive-thru ATM machine on a Sunday Morning. I tried calling customer service, and they were closed! With no help I tried contacting the police to see if they could help but they didn’t respond either. After 15minutes of waiting, the machine spat out my card. This is the second time this has happened to me and last time it actually got stuck and i had to cancel my last one and wait 3 days for a new. The hassle it put me through that day was just upsetting!

I have a great banker in Oaklawn and he always goes the extra mile for me which is why I have stayed with them for so long. I was trying to close on a mortgage with 53rd and needed to wire transfer some money. Went to the New lenox branch and the banker said she couldn’t help me, I went to the Mokena location and they were able to do it. Moral of the story, New Lenox branch! Maybe she should watch their commercial about customer service!!!

Lucy is amazing ! Every time I visit this branch Lucy is all over the place supporting her team wherever is needed . She’s a true team player and hard worker . I do think it’s super weird that no fifth thirds around me accept coin and that the “machines broke and no one is planing on fixing them” . Wasn’t there just a coin shortage last year ? You’d think youd want my coin . Anywho , they are awesome otherwise . Thank you Lucy ! Your hard work does not go unnoticed by us .

Fifth third bank is a joke. Don't think they have real financial advisors. They are great when they first want your business. Once you get a mortgage with them there customer services goes out the window. It goes from the branch location all the way up to the customer service over the phone. There is no one that is willing to help you.

So disgusted with this bank. They continually advertised for me to try their mobile banking. I reluctantly tried it.....and they put a 10 DAY HOLD on a local check because it was done thru mobile banking. In an age where checks are done by ACH debit they are holding my money and have the audacity to tell me future debits are subject to their $37 OD fee until the check clears!Calla to branch were uneventful. And the branch manager (Chris) couldn't be bothered to return my call.DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS BANK. Read all reviews and decide for yourself. My guess.....they wont be around much longer because they are certainly NOT making banking a 5/3 better! :)

I have been going to this Branch ever since it opened. I have not had any trouble with customer service . We recently refinanced with Fifth Third. I was tired of chasing down a branch that was opened and this Branch has always been open for me. So far I have never been disappointed in this Branch.

Worse experience with this bank . They gave me the wrong account number so now my checks our going to the wrong accounts . Then to top if off now I can't get the to return the fee I had to pay to have them send me my check in paper form as soon as I can I leaving this bank .
