We cannot say enough wonderful things about DeLynn the owner and artist in New Lenox and her amazing sister Suzette. What started as working with a florist turned into something much more special because DeLynn is not only incredibly talented, but also a dear friend who truly cared about making our daughter Caroline’s wedding beautiful and unforgettable.
DeLynn has such an incredible eye for detail and a true gift for creating beautiful floral arrangements and one of a kind decorations. Every flower, every detail, and every design element was thoughtfully chosen and beautifully put together. She took our humbled ideas and turned them into something even more beautiful than we imagined. ❤
What touched us most was the love and personal care she put into everything. She went above and beyond, always making herself available, helping with ideas, and making sure everything was perfect. We never felt like just another customer—we felt like family.
And we cannot forget Suzette, who was absolutely wonderful. She captured so many beautiful and precious moments throughout the wedding day, especially during the first look and the special moments before the church. Her photographs captured not only how beautiful everything looked, but the emotion and love behind those moments. Those memories will be treasured forever.

“I have been going to Mitchell’s for years—ordered my wedding flowers from there in 2019, random floral arrangements over the years, etc. Friday afternoon I learned that my brother and his groomsmen didn’t have boutonnieres for the following morning’s ceremony. I called Mitchell’s and they accepted the rush job, despite all the busy homecoming orders. The boutonnieres looked amazing—saving my husband’s!—and I am so appreciative of their help!”
