Petco in New Lenox is an excellent store that provides a fantastic experience, far from the bad experiences sometimes associated with pet store chains. The staff is friendly, attentive, and fantastic, with everyone more than happy to help and doing their best. The grooming department is outstanding, with professionals who are absolute gems, super patient, and caring. They take great care to make dogs comfortable, especially with specific needs like allergies, and leave pets looking amazing. The store is well-stocked with really good options, including a broad range of brand-name nutrition products and supplies for dogs, cats, birds, small pets, fish, and reptiles. It offers a good selection of healthy bearded dragon food, cat food, and necessities, along with great treats and sale prices. The highly qualified professionals also provide wonderful resources and great assistance across services including grooming, veterinarian services, and pet adoption. Customers find the experience so positive that they will definitely be back and even drive out of their way to visit.
After having problems with lousey customer service at the Petco in Shorewood,I called the New Lenox store about the problem that I encountered their. Not only did they have the correct item I was looking for they put the item at the register with my name on! This is why I 'm giving it five stars! Job well done!

I heard that pet store chains were bad experiences but that could hardly be further from the truth. The Petco on Lincoln Highway in New Lenox have been nothing short of excellent.

I drive 30 minutes out of my way to get to this grooming department because Lauren is the best groomer! She is super patient with my dog who gets a little nervous, like most dogs who are being taken in to be groomed. But Lauren is always so caring and she leaves my puppy looking amazing!
