The work here is very inconsistent. Sometimes i leave semi happy but most often than not i’m left convincing myself i like them. The woman who did my nails was clearly having a bad day. But that doesn’t mean rush my nails and do half way job. The nails aren’t almond, the shaping is inconsistent among several nails, and the “French tip” is not curved. It’s more like a cone tip. Now next time i need my nails done i need to pay for another full set elsewhere to correct them. Services don’t come cheap. Sad to say i only come when I’m pressed for time.

The ONLY reason I’m giving this place a 4 star is because my natural nails were shaved down, instead of primed with primer. The reason I get gel extensions is to keep my natural nail healthy! Otherwise, the customer service is excellent. The location has a lot of regulars that are remembered by name. I loved my set! Everything else was done immaculately. Recommending this place to my friends!!!

I really love this place! I usually come here only for a pedicure and Valeria is a wonderful sweet young lady, she takes her time and does a great job. On the other hand the owner Nina is so kind to her customers, she’s sweet and makes you feel very welcomed. This time I did my hand nails here. I came back to them because another worker by the name of Vi helped me remove my broken nails that were in pain because I had them made too long elsewhere (never again I will do long nails, lol) well Vi suggested GelEx nails. So let me tell you I loved them 😍 thank you Vi for suggesting them and thank you for being very gentle in removing my broken nails. They were done by Nina and they came out better then I excepted. Thank you Nina I will be back for sure for a fill-in.

I had been there a few times and had a good experience but the last time was horrible. My cuticles were cut until I was bleeding from multiple fingers. My finger are still sore now. I was in a rush so I didn't have a chance to ask for a discount. I called asking if next time I could get a discount, but was told to come back in. I honestly don't have time to come back in. Hoping this can be fixed.

I had a pretty bad experience here. The tech accidentally cut my skin and it started bleeding. Instead of cleaning it properly, she soaked it in acetone and used nail glue to seal it. It really stung and didn’t feel safe at all.
The whole appointment felt rushed and careless. I left feeling worried about infection. Just wanted to share so others know what to expect.

Excellent service from the moment I walked in. I was greeted right away. I was then told to pick out a color. The pedicure with the scrub salt was wonderful! I paid $38.00 plus tip. My friends said my toe nails looked pretty, too. Thank you, Vy! I will definitely be back.

Secret Nails in NewLenox is the ONLY nail salon I choose to go to, all nail technicians are absolutely amazing! They always take their time to achieve your desired nail inspo. If something isn’t to your liking they are very accommodating to fix the issue. Salon is always clean and sanitary! I recommend this nail salon to all family and friends!

I came here as a walk in, no appointment, for a french acrylic set. they were busy but still welcomed me in! the owner was super nice and welcoming, helped me get my set started, and then had one of the other workers step in. they were so nice and kept asking me if i was happy with their work as they did my set. it was $65 total for my full set which i thought was so reasonable as it took an hour. i love my nails! i’ll definitely be coming back!
