Customer service is nonexistent and navigating the store with a cart is almost impossible with the amount of stuff they leave on the floor waiting to be stocked.

ZErO stars. Had to leave one to enter which this place don’t even deserve a one star. Will not be back to this crap location. I bought a safe , paid in full , put on lay away. 4 days later go to pick it up n they tried giving me the floor sample that was all banged up. Tells me there are no more new ones. I said when I paid ,IN FULL , guy said you will get a new one in back , we have a few. I told guy on pick up oh helll No , I will return this if it’s not new. Finally after sitting a hour waiting to get my safe guy says oh we few outside. ( prob didn’t want go out in the cold ), actually bullshit me telling me , oh the last guy cancelled so we got one. Like I’m some dummy. So finally get a new one , had to about kill myself loading , crushing my toe. guy finally tells a kid get fork lift. Like ya should been done in first place. No brains. Not to mention they didn’t care for my truck treating it like it’s no big deal. Guys were so crabby n rude. Never again I step foot in this ignorant customer service location. I honestly felt like yep tgey got my money , now screw me with being ignorant n no help. Better believe I would calling a lawyer , if my truck was damaged or I really hurt myself. Again this place had a forklift but didn’t want help. Not to mention kid on the register couldn’t figure anything out. GO SOMEWHERE THAT TREATS YA RIGHT !!!!! Ignorant at its best. , 1.5 hrs spent with grumpy ignorant staff waiting for my paid in full safe. 🤨 Go to Farm and Fleet for your needs

Like so many others here have stated, I am astounded that TSC has an assistant manager as rude and condescending as Eric. I was floored that by the sheer act of asking a few questions would put him out so much. Not only is he incredibly tactless, he’s also clueless to the products in the store or as to the abilities of the store to acquire products advertised.
I was interested in a large safe. After an exchange with Eric regarding said safe and his ability or lack there of to inform me where or when it may be available, I decided it best I depart the store rather than to be spoken down to. I don’t treat people that way, and I will not purchase a product from somebody that treats me that way. When getting to the door, two sales associates stopped me and apologized for Eric. It was stated that three to four other people THAT SAME DAY had already complained how rude they were treated by Eric. Obviously it’s known in that store he’s disliked by his own employees, and evidently known to others having read other reviews. The sales associates informed me that they could assist in the product I was inquiring about, and I genuinely appreciated their desire to make things right. However, the damage was done and I refuse to spend money at a store that is aware of their assistant manager’s “issues” experienced by many yet still find him to be employable.
I love TSC. I’ve always loved TSC. I will not shop TSC with that individual employed by TSC. There are plenty of businesses elsewhere that appreciate and put forth effort to earn their customers’ business.
I did request the district manager’s phone number and am awaiting a call back.
Until improvement is made, I would avoid this location. There are plenty of reviews stating similar experiences - in this instance, they’re all correct.

They do not put customer service as a priority. They offer refilling of propane tanks yet trying to get anyone to come out to do it as a joke. Everyone just looks at you and says yeah someone will come and 20 minutes goes by after multiple trips back inside to let them know you’re still waiting outside and nothing…

I want to thank Eugene for going above and beyond for correcting a huge mistake with my layaway purchase that wasn't available when I came to pick it up. Eugene made my hour plus drive and bad experience into a good experience. If you go here ask for Eugene the manager he will provide you excellent customer service.

I went to have a propane tank filled and I was never treated so rudely in my life. The person is an Assistant Manager Eric. He didn’t come over to my vehicle to get the tank. Normally I can pull in and the person working takes it out of the back of the vehicle. He yelled at me to bring it in to him. He didn’t open the gate. I expect to be treated with respect especially when dealing with management types.

Probably the worst store I’ve been to. 0 customer service. Waited at service desk for half an hour, employee runs up and then gone. One check out line open for 6 deep customers. No help for heavy items. Narrow aisles and cluttered with packed merchandise and store carts. You need to back out of aisles, you can’t even turn the cart around. It made a cluttered dollar general look like a dream. Every employee looked like they were hung over and just got out of bed. Pitiful.

Terrible managers. 2 old guys are extremely rude and disrespectful. No help in any way. Worst customer service I've experienced at any business. This company is very hard to work with. Never going to Tractor Supply again

New Lenox Illinois tractor supply store advertises they are a Nutrena dealer and stock horse feed .Employee informed me that they will not be stocking the low starch horse feed any more because my 2 bag purchase every two weeks not enough ..Well that’s a shame because I bought beet pulp , fly spray , etc too at this location but now will be buying my horse needs somewhere else . Also if you shop here make sure cashiers know you are buying a sale item because it does not show up at register .. you have to walk employee to shelf for them to read sale tag … happens every time I visit

Completely rude manager! I was so embarrassed as he drew attention to me. My first time exchanging a propane tank I didn’t know not to bring it on the store and ask for an exchange. Probably common sense but I didn’t know. Started screaming why is this in my store in front of everybody in line. Then with an attitude told me we don’t even carry this tank go somewhere else.that store is overpriced anyways
