“I normally do not leave reviews, but I feel like people deserve to know about my experience before spending their hard-earned money here…
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership/private seller on May 2nd for $5,000 paid in full. The vehicle was advertised as being “well maintained” and in good condition, which is a huge reason why I felt comfortable buying it. Unfortunately, within only days of owning the car, I started experiencing serious problems .. especially with the brakes, which is not a small issue when it comes to safety. After the brake problems began, I contacted the seller and was told that the calipers had supposedly been replaced. However, after looking into the condition of the car further, that information did not appear to be true at all. The explanations and information I’ve been given have been inconsistent from the beginning, and every time I tried to get clarification, I felt like I was getting a different story. Not only were the brakes already having issues, but I later discovered that the brake pads were missing clips, meaning the pads were not even being properly held in place. That is a serious safety concern that should never be overlooked on a vehicle being sold to someone as “maintained.” Things became even more dangerous when my brake line broke while me and my children were in the vehicle. We were almost seriously injured because of it. Nobody should have to fear for their safety like that shortly after purchasing a car. On top of the brake issues, the car also did not have a working horn when it was sold to me, which is another major safety concern. It also came without windshield wipers installed, something I had to replace myself immediately after purchasing the vehicle because I needed to drive it safely. I should not have had to discover and fix basic safety-related problems right after spending thousands of dollars on a car that was advertised as maintained and reliable. What makes this situation even more frustrating is the way my concerns were handled afterward. Instead of understanding why I’d be upset about having major safety issues shortly after purchase, I was met with dismissive and rude responses. Being called “lady” in messages while I’m trying to resolve serious concerns about a vehicle I just bought felt extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I understand that used cars can sometimes develop issues. I wasn’t expecting perfection. But there is a major difference between normal wear and tear versus selling a vehicle with safety-related problems while advertising it as maintained and reliable. When someone spends $5,000 on a vehicle, they should at least be able to trust that the brakes, horn, and other basic safety features are functional. I’m leaving this review because I don’t want someone else ending up in the same position I’m in now stuck with expensive repairs almost immediately after buying a car and feeling completely dismissed when trying to address the situation. Please be careful, ask questions, and have any vehicle fully inspected before purchasing from here.”
“Chris and Mike were amazing to work with. They were kind and fair. True gentlemen. It felt really good to buy a car from a dealership you know is treating you well and looking out for your best interest. As for the car. Top notch quality. This dealership is a rarity. You want to buy from them. I know I will be back!”
