My son was prescribed a medication that was a probiotic along with a rash cream.. we then picked up the rash cream and they tell us that the probiotic cannot be covered by insurance and we would have to buy it over the counter. That person was amazing, gave us the name needed .. next thing you know it, I need to have someone grab to pick up the probiotic because my son is having bad issues with his stomach.. the name is on a paper inside a truck that’s unavailable for me to grab. I call to be able for them to look up the prescription name so I can buy it over the counter… this lady is gonna tell me there was no past prescription to go off of. Okay cool so can I get a consult on what probiotic I can use that’s over the counter for my son? Oh I can’t consult you because it wasn’t prescribed or diagnosed.. how? It’s over the counter.. you can’t tell me a name of a kids probiotic I can get OVER THE COUNTER because it’s not diagnosed? (Which was, pretty sure she never looked my sons name up to actually LOOK) . Like okay. She was rude , need more people skills and to actually care more.

Ryan in the pharmacy really went above and beyond for me getting my prescriptions ready. It’s really nice to get such great customer service again at this location!

Employee told me that the internet was down and it would take 6 to 6 minutes for me to check out, I could not have sale prices and could not enter my phone number.
All wrong I entered my phone number it worked ,against the Employees directions. I got sale prices as he said I would not as they appeared on the screen......
I verbally asked him. Do you just not want my business? Are you trying to get me to leave? Another employee told Yousef , the cashier helping me. Just check me out and be quiet. The unknown employee also came over at one point and told Yousef, I will get sale prices, and was confused about how he was treating me.
I'm local to New Lenox and have been a customer for decades. This treatment was inexcusable... I was checker out in just a couple of minutes. Terrible customer service!!!!!

Trying to get any information from the pharmacy is a joke. VERY rude and unhelpful. Currently changing over to a different pharmacy. They are terrible with customer service and phone skills.

This is one of the worst Walgreens I've ever been to in terms of service in its pharmacy section. They often mistakenly send me multiple prescription reminders only to have them cancel each other out and cause confusion. One time someone in their office put my prescription in under my last name, my first name, my last name, and my middle name and took them 2 days to figure it out. Today, the entire pharmacy is closed and it states on the sign that they don't have a pharmacist on site. So they can't do any prescriptions. Yet. They reminded me I have a medication for pickup.

This pharmacy used to be well run but now it is disorganized and slow. The later shifts after 10pm are still efficient but the others aren't. I and 10 others stood in line for over 40 minutes while 5 employees slowly walked around mainly talking to each other. They spent 15 minutes with one person who didn't have a prescription trying explain why they couldn't fill her order instead of just telling her to leave and helping others. Hopefully they will get back to the efficiency they had before covid under a different pharmacy head.

The staff is absolutely rude as all heck. They at least made it right by taking off $15 my photo order but there was no reason for this guy to give me attitude. I was asking a question that was all. Just because you hate your job and have to work at 2am doesn’t mean you’re get to make my live harder BECAUSE I WAS JUST TRYING TO GET PHOTOS OF MY UNCLES DOG WHO DIED WHO I LOVED.I know the manager reads these, I hope you’re ashamed of yourself and your staff considering I left my number at the employee’s request for a call from the manager.

This is the WORST pharmacy ever. I waited in the drive up window 30 minutes waiting for them to even acknowledge me. There was only one girl there helping someone at the window that took over 30 minutes. That person should have went inside to get the prescription filled. My prescription was already ready all I had to do was pick it up. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. The girl had NO customer service at all. DId not even mention to me "I will be with you shortly". NOTHING. I will never go here again.

Incompetence is the best way to describe the pharmacy department. My dogs could do a better job than the technicians working there.

Pharmacy staff is very rude. They act like they aren’t allowed to answer questions that they absolutely are. I asked what brand was stocked of a specific medication before filling and was told that they didn’t have that information and that it didn’t matter. They do, and it does.

On May 9th, at 7:24pm I called the New Lenox Walgreens at Nelson and route 30 to get a refill for my zoloft (medicine for depression, not a narcotic) and was told I have no more refills. I explained that my insurance changed and my doctor does not accept my new insurance, so I am in-between doctors. The person on the phone was friendly and said to call my doctor but if it doesn’t work we can do a 30 day emergency supply. I tried my doctor and he could not see me. I called Walgreens back on the 12th ant 11:01am and asked for the 30 day supply. The condescending person on the phone told me “she does not give out 30 day supplies here.” I explained that I was told different. She then said I need to go to urgent care. The new employees are extremely rude and condescending. I don’t know what happened, but the new pharmacy staff has driven that place into the ground. I will be going to CVS from now on.

Rude pharmacy employees. They constantly make mistakes and talk to you like you're a child. If it's wasn't for the distance to another walgreens I'd go elsewhere. Train your people better.

I too would give this place 0 stars if I could. It's the absolute worst. Avoid at all costs. Prescriptions never ready on time but the employees have time to stand around. Used to be a great pharmacy but has gone down hill over the last 6 months or so. Find somewhere else to get your scripts filled

Terrible service they leave you days waiting for medication and instead of calling and telling you that they don't have your medication and ive hadas to come three different times for my medication and it "was out of stock" making me waste gas and time.
