Worst pharmacy around

This pharmacy used to be well run but now it is disorganized and slow. The later shifts after 10pm are still efficient but the others aren't. I and 10 others stood in line for over 40 minutes while 5 employees slowly walked around mainly talking to each other. They spent 15 minutes with one person who didn't have a prescription trying explain why they couldn't fill her order instead of just telling her to leave and helping others. Hopefully they will get back to the efficiency they had before covid under a different pharmacy head.

The staff is absolutely rude as all heck. They at least made it right by taking off $15 my photo order but there was no reason for this guy to give me attitude. I was asking a question that was all. Just because you hate your job and have to work at 2am doesn’t mean you’re get to make my live harder BECAUSE I WAS JUST TRYING TO GET PHOTOS OF MY UNCLES DOG WHO DIED WHO I LOVED.I know the manager reads these, I hope you’re ashamed of yourself and your staff considering I left my number at the employee’s request for a call from the manager.

This is the WORST pharmacy ever. I waited in the drive up window 30 minutes waiting for them to even acknowledge me. There was only one girl there helping someone at the window that took over 30 minutes. That person should have went inside to get the prescription filled. My prescription was already ready all I had to do was pick it up. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. The girl had NO customer service at all. DId not even mention to me "I will be with you shortly". NOTHING. I will never go here again.

Incompetence is the best way to describe the pharmacy department. My dogs could do a better job than the technicians working there.

Pharmacy staff is very rude. They act like they aren’t allowed to answer questions that they absolutely are. I asked what brand was stocked of a specific medication before filling and was told that they didn’t have that information and that it didn’t matter. They do, and it does.

On May 9th, at 7:24pm I called the New Lenox Walgreens at Nelson and route 30 to get a refill for my zoloft (medicine for depression, not a narcotic) and was told I have no more refills. I explained that my insurance changed and my doctor does not accept my new insurance, so I am in-between doctors. The person on the phone was friendly and said to call my doctor but if it doesn’t work we can do a 30 day emergency supply. I tried my doctor and he could not see me. I called Walgreens back on the 12th ant 11:01am and asked for the 30 day supply. The condescending person on the phone told me “she does not give out 30 day supplies here.” I explained that I was told different. She then said I need to go to urgent care. The new employees are extremely rude and condescending. I don’t know what happened, but the new pharmacy staff has driven that place into the ground. I will be going to CVS from now on.

Rude pharmacy employees. They constantly make mistakes and talk to you like you're a child. If it's wasn't for the distance to another walgreens I'd go elsewhere. Train your people better.

I would have hoped as we moved out of the pandemic the overall pharmacy service would have improved at this location, along with the customer service level.....it absolutely HAS NOT! The amount of time to fill a script is a good 8-12+ hours and don't bother dropping off and "waiting". The drive thru line gets obnoxious, inside you'll stand in line for 30+ minutes and drive through you'll sit for at least 45+ minutes. This location being a 24 hour location needs MORE STAFF and 2 pharmacists for the amount that goes through! If I need medication quickly (sick visit), I'll send to Osco and pay out of pocket (insurance only covers Walgreens and mail in)! Kindness matters, Walgreens needs to increase the pay of its pharmacy employees to increase the hiring pool and help with staffing!! Customer service training as well!

I've been coming to this Walgreens since I was a child for everything. My medicine, candy, anything I needed this Walgreens always has had it. The staff has always been kind to me, but today Phyllis at the cashier stand was one of the most pleasant cashiers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was kind, funny, and just so pleasant to talk to. Give this woman a raise!!

My husband and I had appointments for covid tests today (11/26). While waiting, the female pharmacist was talking loudly to another customer about how she does not like that covid tests are now done in store and she does not like giving the test and being exposed to covid. You are a healthcare professional and this is part of your job and also, you should not be talking about my business to other customers. My husband and I were wearing masks and keeping our distance. It is not my fault Walgreens changed the testing policy.

Do not go to this Walgreens. Staff is rude and inconsiderate. I was told my prescription would be ready at 10:30 AM. Went there at 1:30PM and after awaiting for half an hour I was told that no one here would have said that it would be ready at 10:30. and that they don't even stock it anymore. They have a new system in place that is a joke. Didn't even have my insurance on file that I used last week. Go to CVS.

Very dysfunctional pharmacy. No direction from the Supervisor if there us one. Long lines down the isle for medicine and only 1 tech working the desk. Came for a Covid Booster. Still waiting an hour later. Won't be back! Why would I?

I was picking up my 4 yrs old prescription. They said it would be 30 minutes we waited an hour. We are from KS and are trying to make it home. We go pick up the prescription and they say they don't take his insurance. When in Kansas, Walgreens does accept his insurance. All his information was in the computer since they told us an old address. We waited an hour for them to tell us. Still 10 hours from home Smh. This does not make sense at all when Walgreens is nationwide. Will contact corporate. I hope my four year old will be okay until we get to KS.
