My future son-in-law purchased an engagement ring for my daughter. The service that was received was horrible when it was brought in to be sized!!! Not only being treated very rude when calling to see if ring was back, she was ignorantly told she would have received a call (after 2 1/2 weeks) if it was in. Not even one minute later, her fiance was texted to tell him it was in. There was also an issue when she was showing bands for the ring and again, very rudely stated, “are you just playing games with me!?”. After having the ring for 2 weeks, the ring bent when getting caught on sheets when making the bed. She was scared of Kathy(owner) to go back to get it fixed, so took it to a different jeweler, whom said it was made way too thin and would just continue to bend very easily. So now she has to get a whole new setting. I would definitely not recommend Zembar to anyone!!!

Not a McDonald’sWe waited five weeks for a new battery to be put in my wife's watch!I visited Zembars twice. They said the watch was out for repair. They said they would call with update, Never Called.3 calls to get an update, Never Called back!After our watch spent 5 weeks in Zanzibar my wife stopped in.She wanted her watch back!The owner Kathy started yelling at hersaying did she think getting a watch repaired was like going to McDonald'sAt least McDonald's is fulfilling and fast!Two hours after my wife's trip to Zembars to hear Kathy's stories I received a call from Zembars saying her watch was ready!If you wanted to go to Zembars for story time they are amazing story tellers.Bring a blanket and pillow you will be there a while!

I visited Zembar Jewelers on Saturday, May 6th after hearing nothing but great things. In arriving at the store, both representatives were busy but still greeted me and were friendly. My purpose of stopping in was to find a gift for my wife as this would be her first Mother’s Day. The representative that worked with me was the daughter’s owner who was incredibly professional and helpful. She provided recommendations, options and even asked for my budget to keep our focus. I ended up purchasing two items that I was incredibly impressed with. While checking out, the store slowed down in which both representatives were personable and thanked me multiple times for my business.Zembar Jewelers is definitely a hidden gem of New Lenox and I am so glad to have found a family owned. Business with such great service and products. We’ll definitely be visiting again for other occasions!

Kathleen was very helpful and very thorough in helping me to find a new setting for an older ring that I had. She never rushed me and took her time showing me various pieces and how the stones could be placed. I will definitely use Zembar Jewelers for any needs in the future and I highly recommend them.
