I asked for an empty box to send my nephew a care package. He is a Marine serving in Japan. They said no. I guess that is fine, but they were stocking the shelves. I just wanted one box. Way to support our troops.

Im not a fan of writing bad reviews, but this issue has happened too many times and its been a significant inconvenience which has put quite the damper on being a very convenient location for my route home after work. They close down far earlier than the hours listed. Its not even a consistent time for these closings. It could be open until 10pm, 730pm 900, 930pm etc. I work a lot and sometimes need to grab necessary items im out of. I dont understand it? if the location is short handed and can not operate because of it, then maybe its time to permanently pick a closing time that employees or management can be there for. For now i will just always assume this DG is most likely not open after 7pm. Which is a bummer since 9 of 10 times i work past that time.

The employees you currently have are really friendly and very helpful. I’m not sure why people are giving it low stars. It’s always clean in there and they are well stocked on basic necessities. Thank you Dollar General for opening in New Milford!

It gets real annoying when you need to get something and they randomly close the store. You can see the workers inside standing on their phones doing nothing.

This store is a godsend for this area. But I only shop here if I need only a few items and I don't want to drive across town to get them. The prices on some things are fair but the selection is not great. Also don't understand why they even have the self-checkouts - they're never open! It would be nice to not have to wait in line for the one slow store employee to come from the back of the store everytime you need to checkout. Either hire more employees or get rid of the self-checkouts all together.

Great Selection and very nice staff. They have had their struggles hiring like everyone else. I have never had a bad experience with who they have. Very friendly and helpful.

Wow I didn’t know corporate let family work together the manager is the mom and making her son an assistant manager how is that fair for the rest of the workers and the daughter works there too someone needs to do something about this plus very rude they need new management

Employees not wearing masks. I asked young male why sign on door stating masks required and noone had them on. His reply " i don't know why sign is there" " manager doesn't have us wear them"
