I have been a Costco member for many decades. The cost of membership easily pays off in gas savings for my 1999 suburban with its 42 gallon tank. Costco gas stations are efficient - multiple lanes and long hoses that reach gas tanks on either side.

It's cheaper than the local stations, but not that much cheaper. Lots of lines were blocked off last time I was there, and I'm not sure why, but it made for a longer wait. Otherwise, I'd love to make it my go-to gas station, but it would have to be much more affordable.

This is one of the best priced Costco gas stations in Chicagoland. It's easy to get to off of US 94.
