“I met the Bernas' in the '80s when the store was at the North & Pulaski area, Because I worked 'down the street' I took co-workers there many a lunch hour - at the time they sold some wicked good raisin/bran muffins. Both Ken and Anita are personable and friendly and a source of good advice. Over the years they were a go-to for my family. They solved and advised my son re eczema and a bad reaction to an antibiotic, pain relief from a wisdom tooth extraction. When my daughter-in-law was trying to stop smoking...Ken suggested something to help.
When we stopped by the shop with my brand new grandson, Anita welcomed him 'to earth.' Wonderful people.”

“I have been with Seattle Sutton for a few years now and started with the full week but have gone to the first half week because there are times I will pick up a burger or go out to eat. Then I had meals left over I like SS for convenience, calorie control part of my week, and healthy food that tastes good. I get fruits & veggies every day which I wouldn’t purchase myself. They have improved the meals a lot so I’m sticking with them. ? I read some reviews and realized I didn’t say how I appreciate Hazel.. I picked up in the beginning but haven’t driven in a long time. Hazel now delivers my food. She is great ?”

The woman who was working there was very helpful and friendly, I feel really good about supporting a small business versus ordering online. “I have been going to this particular GNC for over five years even though there are 3 stores closer to where I live. Josh is very knowledgeable about all the products in the store. More importantly he is the most friendly shop owner I know. For several years I just call him and place my order and he has it shipped to my house. I feel he always gives me a fair price and good advice on what to buy. GNC is lucky to have a great ambassador like Josh.”

“I for the first time tried whole food's pizza yesterday. The price is higher ($3.99) than Amazon Fresh and Costco (~$2 in both places). But, the quality and taste was even better, which can be comparable to great pizza restaurants. Only thing I was disappointed was there are only some basic pizzas like cheese and pepperoni with very basic topping options. But, still the quality was high. I would definitely try their pizza again soon.”

“In business for more than 37 years, JD Mills is the best place to find bulk food, spices, dried fruits, herbal remedies and other products for healthy lifestyles. I recommend the dried mango, sesame snack sticks, and chocolate double dipped malt balls. Prices are comparable with other bulk foods but the convenience is very good. Same owner with a recommendation and a smile at checkout. Highly recommend!”
“The store usually has everything I need, which is great for one-stop shopping. However, it would be helpful if all the cooking gadgets were kept in one area instead of being spread throughout the store. This would make it much easier to find what I’m looking for.”
“It's hit or miss. Sometimes bulk items (and not many bulk items in the first place) are not stocked. Items are mislabeled (e.g. hard squashes labeled as local yet stickers say from Mexico). Good store for produce in winter.”

So basically they don't carry chocolate milk unless you want peas or 1% diluted chocolate whatever.
I was told I could turn in my glass Oerweiss bottles hauled them all and was told they don't take them anymore.”
“I come here about twice a month for Amazon returns (consistently a positive experience). I love the drip coffee available here. It’s my favorite place to get coffee (my go to would have previously been Pike Place drip coffee at Starbucks) and always a treat. Recently our family tried the sushi (5 varieties) and summer rolls and it was all excellent. I will get the sushi now every visit. Also convenient for produce and meat/ poultry staples which are fresh. We always get the preorder Thanksgiving meals here which are convenient and cheaper than cooking myself. We love the pecan pie. We did get a seasonal vanilla cake recently for Independence Day that was incredibly dry, to the point we used it for the photo op and took a few bites and then threw it away. I love the brown butter cookies sometimes, they are also very hit or miss. Overall I like this Whole Foods and will continue to shop here.”
